    This series does not seem to have limits. Things have already gotten pretty extreme through only two issues, though in different ways. It feels like the main character might be safe, but everything else appears to be fair game. And even then, Higgins has shown with other work no one is really safe under his watch. Read Full Review

    Issue #2 of Ordinary Gods slows things down to focus on the main character and how they are dealing with the extraordinary situation they find themselves in. It's a slower paced affair but keeps your interest through cleverly juxtaposed past and present scenes and teasing us with more information about these characters' past and the secret world they come from.     'Ordinary Gods' is an ambitious opus that's taking its time to set the ground rules and identify its players. Issue two slows down to take a breath and inform Christopher's responsibility as a reincarnated immortal and how his sister fits in all this. Higgins' world-building is taking shape with the help of a versatile and dynamic art team in Watanabe and William. 'Ordinary Gods' is gearing up for some epic confrontations.  Read Full Review
