With the long layoff, some plot details and characters are very hard to remember. That is really, for me, the only downfall of this issue. The "core" of the series is still very easy to get back into and Remender continues to explore some very in-depth more psychological themes with this series. So the book comes back after almost a year long break, and it's just as incredible as ever. Man, how I've missed it.
Hollingsworth rocked Opena’s art in this issue. The story moved with a nice pace, and had a good amount of action. Lots of clarity in this issue for me regarding Garlis’ control over Adam. Really liked how much time was spent in this issue developing the relationship with Adam and the Mud King.
This was the best single issue in the series so far. Very cool.
