    As a final note, Witchblade has been a really underrated series that deserves a wider readership than what it currently gets. Marz is a confident writer and both House and Gonia provide some good artwork as it sets the stage for Saras last issue, #185, and hopefully, Witchblade can end on a high witheverything in place for the series to do so.     To some extent, this issue has helped me see why this character is so popular. There is a level of competency around the proceedings, of which with a bit more flair, would increase my enjoyment.There is also thatcover by Silvestri,who is in my top three X-Men artists of all time, (controversy moment ahead, Jim Lee is fourth), which adds a level of quality to the book.     Witchblade #184 is a sturdy enough arc finisher that sets up the series finale but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit disappointed by it. Seeing as how its villain might be the last bad guy Sara Pezzini takes down before she leaves my pull-list it all makes me, as a fan, wish we had a more potent rival in the mix. Still enough is done right to keep the book on track for its date with destiny in November. Read Full Review
