Champions is a perfect blend of the wackiest stuff comics has to offer and the importance of genuine teenage friendships. Read Full Review

Geeked Out Nation - Jideobi Odunze Dec 12, 2018

Champions #27 wraps this up perfectly. As one of three books that took a leap into Weirdworld, it was commendable how they added their own spin to the ever-shifting landscape, while at the same time showing that there are connections to what happened when Deadpool and Weapon H were here. Great action, character moments, and substance to balance out the final battle. Read Full Review

Black Nerd Problems - Chris Aiken Dec 14, 2018

Marvel's young guns are closer than ever, yet the team dynamic is more complicated than ever. We learn just as much about these heroes through this series as we do in their own separate adventures. As future threats arrive, I can't wait to see how they take them on. Read Full Review

A fun adventure comes to a close, and the only real downside being that the book relaunches with yet ANOTHER number one next time around. There are worse things to complain out. Read Full Review

I’ve been lukewarm on this story arc and I remain so. Everything kind of just came out of nowhere.

Such a feast for the eyes! It was the last part to the story so the action came quickly and kept going. Finally a comic worth the price, more like these please.

Viv stumbles the Champions into victory by restoring everyone's memories. This issue makes a conscious choice to sideline the Weirdworld plot in order to max out the attention paid to the characters, and I couldn't agree more with that decision. All of the warm fuzzies deliver a "power of friendship" victory that's satisfying instead of cheesy. Or, okay, maybe satisfying AND cheesy. Consistently top-notch art (for both Weirdworld and the real world) furthers the feeling of reading something special here.

Is this the end, Beautiful Friend (The doors !)
But sometime a end is essential for a new beginning. And on this matter Zub plant some new lead. This comics is about a loss & accept it. Their it's for a power lost, but that can be about a friend, a family, a lover too. So yeah maybe it's a little to quick, maybe some thing could have been better. But I find this story nicely done. And this is about friendship too. In moment of loss don't turn back on friend, they are here for you (For the much part, the better one). It's a nice goodbye to Sam Alexander. Zub have make care to put in his little Sister too (And I almost forgotten here myself). The fusion is maybe easy, but that give a nice ending between Riri & Viv. And they finish with a more

Want Zub has done with half the issue as Waid has had been prolific and I can’t weight for Zub to write Champions with a new number 1 bc this was a fantastic run. Hopefully the Champions are here to stay

This issue felt pretty rushed. Which is a shame because I've enjoyed this arc a lot. I'm not sure how to feel about the brewing romance between Viv and Riri. It's been hinted at, sure, but I didn't expect any progress on that. It's a bit weird, but Riri's reaction proves that the writer is well aware of that. The most intriguing thing to happen was Ultron assimilating Sparky, I'm excited to see what happens with that, and I'm slightly intrigued with the direction Champions is going in the next run. If only this issue didn't rush to its conclusion.
