    ComicBook.com - Matthew Aguilar Oct 7, 2020

"X of Swords" continues to flow through the X-Men line, but as Marauders shows, never at the expense of the characters we've grown to love in their individual series. Read Full Review

Overall this chapter read like a love letter to Storm. Proving we need more of her in the X-books. This chapter is packed full of so many story elements and is so far one of the best chapters in the event. Read Full Review

    AIPT - David Brooke Oct 7, 2020

By the end of the issue, it's quite clear Storm has a lot weighing on her mind and that doesn't even include the upcoming duel she must endure in Otherworld. Marauders #13 has a lot of story to tell that hits at the heart of the weight Storm carries and how her actions aren't to be taken lightly. There are many shades of Storm, and Marauders #13 shows just how awesome they all are. Read Full Review

Comic Book Revolution - Kevin Lainez Oct 10, 2020

Marauders #13 is the strongest chapter in the X of Swords crossover that we've gotten so far. Vita Ayala and Matteo Lolli did not disappoint in spotlighting Storm's journey to claim her sword as one of Krakoa's champions. Bringing in Wakanda as key to the story gave greater emotional weight to the decisions that Storm had to make. It all positioned Storm to be a powerful champion as X of Swords continues to develop. Beyond The Panel - Jideobi Odunze Oct 7, 2020

Overall, Marauders #13 did not let me down like I thought it might. Tie-ins can get messy, particularly when the event it is setting up for is still something you are waiting to be fully sold on. This could have been a waste of an issue, though pleasantly it turned out to be so much more. Issue #13 is the Storm issue you never thought you needed in the Dawn of X. Read Full Review

MARAUDERS #13 works...enough. There isn't a ton of action nor is it filled with too many surprises. But, it gets the job done moving the story forward. Read Full Review

Ugh. Despite being a well-made comic book, everything about the story and conflict in this issue is manufactured hot garbage serving no other purpose than just padding out the X of Swords runtime. Read Full Review
