This is probably one of my favorite books out right now,and even though it's had its flaws, I'm willing to overlook them in the name of fun. Read Full Review

Heroes Direct - Adam Fitch Sep 28, 2016

Seeing Deadpool devilishly handsome again is strange, but the artist has done a great job with it. Not just with Wade, but with the whole story. The genetically-manipulated team of villains are hilariously accurate to what we'd imagine an animal/human hybrid would look like, and seeing them in epic action sequences against Spidey and Pooley is great. Superior Spider-Talk - Cain Winstead Oct 1, 2016

Spider-Man/Deadpool #9 kicks off its new arc with the quality laughs and action we've come to expect from this title, small continuity errors aside. The qualms found in the previous issue are nowhere to be seen and instead we've got one great ride of an issue. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Jim Werner Oct 3, 2016

I'm admitting that I'm a Spider-Man fanboy through and through however I have also read a ton of the All New All Different Marvel lineup and this is one of the books I've been having the most fun with. This issue continues the series trend of strong art, well-constructed story beats, and jokes that hit the mark. If you have any love for either of the two title characters in this book you won't regret jumping in at any point. 8.0/10 Read Full Review

Itsy-Bitsy is going to be an oddball character that will give the duo trouble and I love the point of that. And I'm loving beautiful deadpool. He is still a jerk giving me life. Kelly and McGuinness are on to something great. I love the art of McGuinness and the of Morales and Keith it just keeps it old school yet fresh. Great job and can't wait for more.

The novelty of seeing Spider-Man and Deadpool together is quickly wearing off revealing how slow the plot is in this series. We are nine issues deep and the writer has barely scratched the surface of what is going on. Are we supposed to completely forget that Deadpool killed Parker and ridiculously brought him back to life? (only in comicbooks folks). The whole issue is one page after another of plodding fight scenes and repetitive one-liners that are unoriginal and not that funny anymore (they may have been once). Yeah, no matter how many times you repeat the word "aggro", it still comes off like you are trying too hard. Perhaps the best way to sum up this series is 'interrupted' and that applies to the story, the dialogue and the release of the issues as well. We've already seen Doom become mister handsome, is this plagiarism of ideas from the house of "ideas"?
