This won't be to everyone's taste, as mentioned, if you are over the whole political debates and related issues then perhaps this isn't for you. If you like the age old story of fighting for what is right, standing up against the oppressive forces that want to destroy everything, then you just might enjoy this comic. Read Full Review

Miles Morales: The End may not quite qualify as "essential reading." But it's a self-contained story with a simple message, and its creators deliver it powerfully. As long as you come in with even a little curiosity as to how Miles Morales is holding up decades after the end of the world, you won't be disappointed. Read Full Review

Miles Morales: The End is worth reading but not something to rush out for. We'll see what the rest of the one-shots bring as the whole might be better than the individual issues. There may be a point in the future where the comic matters a bit more but at this point it feels like a one-shot that's generally forgettable. Read Full Review

Major Spoilers - Jonathan Cadotte Jan 14, 2020

Miles Morales: The End #1 is a fine story, but the addition of Miles' death at the end and it being advertised as "the final Miles Morales story" makes this feel like a shallow attempt to cash in on sentimentality that just isn't earned in these pages. Read Full Review

Well, all I have to say is, why? Why is this issue even a thing? The art was a solid B while some of the faces were unquestionably disturbing. And, the story just felt like it was trying to tell something new but somehow it didnt know where to go or what direction to focus on. I truly would not recommend this to anyone, especially Miles fans like myself. Read Full Review

Comic Watch - Matt Meyer Jan 8, 2020

Miles Morales: The End has a good head for its lead character, but thats ultimately lost in a hodgepodge of post-apocalypse tropes and clichs readers have seen countless times before. If youre looking for a definitive final statement that closes the book on a beloved character, sadly, this one-shot doesnt measure up. Read Full Review

Few ideas about this world stand out as unique, and with so little connective tissue to Miles' overall journey it hits the ground with a thud instead of swinging. Read Full Review
