While I wouldn’t recommend you rush out any buy this book, it is definitely worth flicking through in the store and seeing if it takes your fancy. Kudos too to Chris Yost for managing the seemingly impossible task of doing Wolverine’s long history justice in just one issue! Read Full Review

Imagination Centre - John McCubbin Jul 27, 2013

This was a good film, with some problems. It had plenty of action, as well as emotion, and was brilliantly cast. It also perfectly adapted some of the key parts of Wolverine's history, as well as add on top of that. This was still however nothing amazing, as it lacked in overall structure, and ruined Deadpool. I would however still recommend at least seeing this film once, as it's definitely worth a try, as you're bound to like it to a certain extent (just don;t expect to necessarily love it). I've been mostly negative about this film, it's not good, but it's not horrible. I found it more enjoyable than X3 and I think there were some really cool sequences, but there was also a lot of not cool sequences. Overall, this film is "Wait for DVD" worthy or for die hard fans that are just happy to get some iteration of the characters. Personally, I think 20th Century Fox needs to either boot Tom Rothman (is he not one of the most hated men in Hollywood?) and 20th Century needs to relinquish the Marvel properties BACK to Marvel so we can see proper adaptations of Daredevil, Fantastic Four and of course, the X-Men. Addendum: Since writing this review, it has been brought to my attention that one of Marvel's "Free Comic Book Day" offerings this year is to be an issue entitled Wolverine: Origin Of An X-Man, making this regularly priced issue feel even more redundant. Read Full Review
