Hood's story work was just perfect, Hood and Batman have started to acknowledge their mistakes.
Reading Tim my second favorite robin was good even though the story is not very good.
Grifter is no longer a good character, the writer's exaggerations have made him a bit tired.

This definitely can't be considered canon, there are bigger holes in the plot, bigger than Hopkins investigated.

Zdarky is a good writer, but he's so absorbed in the old times, he has not taken into account the evolution of Jason, nor in Lost Days where Jason was configured as a strategist equal or even superior to Batman, nor the formative years in the League of Shadows and let's no more

So this one was better than the one before. Revisiting Jason's fall is always going to get me in the feels but there's one thing I didn't like here. Jason shouldn't fall that easily for a drugged-up Mr. Freeze. If Lobdell did one thing right, he made Jason a competent vigilante, someone like Mr. Freeze was easy-peasy for him. Now Zdarsky just put him back in that "helpless, reckless" territory, so more

I know Merlyn has mentioned that Zdarsky doesn't do a lot of reading on a character. I remember Grant Morrison saying that DC doesn't provide archive material for writers and he relied on his own reading and collection. That might explain why Zdarsky isn't quite on canon. Regardless there's huge potential in Jason Todd for a great writer to develope. I think bringing back into the streets and crime of Gotham rather than meta human team ups works better for him.

fenixalasnegras - Jun 11, 2021

I read in an interview in Italian that Chip focuses on father and son problems, and everything that pushes them away. It may be that he is not interested in this moment, more when DC is throwing continuity out the window and focused on the conflicts of both.

Sadly Taylor has a very aggressive fanbase who loves him to the point of fanaticism so I don't see that happening anytime soon, especially after what happened with Nightwing the last few years.
