    Mech Cadet Yu #2 is just a fantastic issue and a really fun read. Stanford Yu is a great character and his enthusiasm will bleed onto the reader within a few pages. If you are not reading this series you are missing out on a great comic book! Luckily it has been picked up as an ongoing series so we are going to get a lot more of Stanford Yu and his adventures for a long while. Read Full Review

    Mech Cadet Yu is a fun series with a lot of heart. The second issue continues to showcase the world the creator has in mind and the potential it has in the future. If you havent taken the time to check out this comic series, you are missing out on something good. Also, by the end of this issue it becomes apparent the drama and intensity is going to be kicked into high gear with issue three so this is the perfect time to read the first two issues and wait in anticipation for more Mech Cadet Yu.     Mech Cadet Yu employs all the workings of a "feel-good" book. It's an underdog story. And I'm a fan of this type of story. The characters are strong and great and I feel a connection with them. Which is how it is supposed to be with characters. Read Full Review

    Not counting the final page the issue is structured well. A lot happens and while a big chunk of it is very typical for "boy gets to pilot a robot" stories, the tone is very different from many mech series, so "Mech Cadet Yu" #2 is worth checking out even for those who don't get particularly excited about robot stories.
