My thought exactly and Jon Kent is quickly becoming a fan favorite
"SUPERMAN REBORN" finale! As this epic tale wraps up, Superman's life is drastically changed...and that's all we are saying for now-except that you won't want to miss it! The covers by Patrick Gleason and Mick Gray and the variant covers by Gary Frank for SUPERMAN #18-19 and ACTION COMICS #975-976 will connect to form a single vertical image.
There are no real answers to what Superman's future holds in this issue. Superman, arguably, has been a roller-coaster for the past several years. Issues with characterization and plot lines have mixed with solid attempts to revitalize the character. Action Comics #976gives us an action-filled, feel-good beginning, whilethe anticipation Jurgens builds through the unanswered questions at the end of the issue paint an exciting future for Superman. Superman Reborn is acted as a simple continuation of stories and a launch pad for the next set of stories that Superman and his family will be going through in the next few months. A tightly wound event between two titles with tie-ins exploring their own stake in the game. The finale only had a few ways it could naturally end and to see the most logical (and guessed!) ending play out while wearing it's heart on it's sleeves racked with emotion and love for the character and his long history is a fantastic sight. The writers and artists deserve a pat on the back for reaching the finish line with not one hair nor panel out of place. Superman Reborn has not only restored the titular character and his status but also keeps those surrounding him with an invigorated playground that is the DCU Rebirth landscape. Read Full Review
The New 52 required Rebirth to walk a fine line in regaining fan confidence and reclaiming the noble legacy of Action Comics #1. 975 issues later, DC Comics has succeeded. Read Full Review
What if they held a Crisis, but somebody forgot to send out the invitations? That is the feeling of SUPERMAN REBORN, the story arc that has threaded through the pages of Supermanand Action Comics over the last month. It is, on its own merits, an excellent story of the Kent family and one of their oldest and most popular nemeses. However, it is also a bold rewriting of continuity for the Family of Steel and everyone whose story touches theirs, in other words, every major character in the DC Universe. Read Full Review
Superman has been a must read since Rebirth started and Action Comics is starting to warrant that designation as well. With Superman Reborn wrapped, the future for the main Superman books hasn't looked this good in years. Read Full Review

Suffice to say that if you have read parts 1-3, this is a must get to see how this story wraps up. However, it will pose more questions than it answers, so fair warning there. Overall this is a solid comic and worth the cover price, there is no reason to not go and get it. Read Full Review
The new status quo for Superman has been established and I for one couldn't be happier. Read Full Review
Remember, the whole point of Rebirth was to get back to a classic interpretation of these DC characters. This fusing of the two Supermen and Loises does just that. But like any soft reboot (maybe this is a firm but not hard reboot), it opens things up to more questions. I'll be watching. I trust these creators. I think this will all work out. Read Full Review
I'm blown away by the story which I can only describe as super. A fantastic ending that shows DC Comics has got a great grasp of mixing the old with the new. Read Full Review
This isn't a perfect issue, but it's hard not to be happy with it. This is what I wanted from my Superman. Read Full Review
Action Comics #976 was a solid finale to an outstanding Superman story. It has great art and writing that make you feel the epic scope and how powerful family can be. If you were on the fence before, then I highly recommend this issue and all the rest of Superman Reborn! Its truly a story worthy of the Man of Steel! Read Full Review
In any case, Action Comics #976 is an overall solid conclusion to "Superman Reborn" and closes just as many doors as it opens for the future of the Man of Steel. Read Full Review
A good issue when it stands alone, but if you read Superman #19 you're going to be getting much of the same story. Read Full Review
Action Comics #976 does a very good job capping off the 'Superman Reborn' arc. Rectifying Superman's history within the new DC Universe creates a lot of interesting directions for the franchise to take moving forward. Even though Mr. Oz did not play as big a role in this arc as one would've thought, his involvement at the end of the issue does create further interest in the bigger story that was started at the beginning of DC Rebirth. With Jurgen's writing and Manhke's art, Action Comics #976 was a satisfying closure to 'Superman Reborn', even if it did leave a fair amount of questions in its wake. Jon's development, Manhke's facial work and the simple fact that the Superman we knew and loved is completely back make 'Superman Reborn' one of Rebirth's best stories thus far. Read Full Review
If you haven’t read this crossover I highly suggest you go pick up the previous issues of Superman and Action Comics. This is one of the best crossover stories I have read in a long time. Read Full Review
For the sheer exhilaration of seeing the character's proper history fully restored, more or less, I'd say this is worth a buy. Just don't expect a ton of answers beyond hand-wavery on the specifics of how we got here or how the pieces all fit together. Read Full Review
Overall Superman Reborn was a fun story as a whole, and even though it ended up not being as essential as some other Superman stories, it did have some interesting moments especially with the Rebirth mystery. It did taper off at the end though, and instead of having a memorable ending, it did seem a bit clich. But no one will be really disappointed with this story if you are a fan of Big Blue. While not a spectacular finale, Action Comics #976 is a satisfying conclusion to "Superman Reborn." Read Full Review
Action Comics #976 feels like it has really large implications for “Rebirth” as it moves forward, but it’s hard to entirely see the writing on the wall. This crossover has definitely existed to move certain pieces into place and it might frustrate some readers that there’s very little clarity as to whether or not what we’re seeing is as real as it seems. But the art team does a really good job of upping the stakes and overall, “Superman Reborn” puts the Superman family in an interesting place. We’ll just have to wait and see if the creative teams on these titles can deliver on this mounting uncertainty. Read Full Review
As with any story whose primary function is revising the story as written thus far (See: Avengers Forever, Crisis, Zero Hour, et al) the balance of in-universe to out-of-universe is key, and Jurgens does an okay job of making it work. He is not up to the task of hiding all the metaphorical men behind the curtains, though, and after reading, it seems clear that the idea of fixing continuity was the most important part. Still, Action Comics #976 manages that point with such a clear affection for Superman and his cast that I can overlook any of that, especially since Superman looks like himself again and his happy family is reunited. Well, our conclusion to the Reborn arc is here and while we do get to see something new and interesting out of it, nothing is really explained about the hows or whys of all this going down. Plus, it seems that the antagonist to this story really had no reason to be here other than to fix Superman's secret identity problem. We did have some excellent art in this issue though and I'm eager to see if the writers of the Superman books will present us with something to make this arc more understandable because after getting all of this thrown at us....... I need some sort of explanation. Read Full Review
So" here we are the final issue of the Reborn Crossover and I have to say, as a whole I'm not impressed. Read Full Review
Things are different all over again for Superman and family. With this identity mystery over, the title will have to shift to a new approach. Returning to a status quo for Superman while understandable is not without some disappointment. Keeping ideas newis important for characters that have the history that Superman does. This "Reborn" journey was not as great as the year leading up to it. Read Full Review

Great book!Dan Jurgens planned all this perfectly.
The antithesis of one more day in many ways. Also Jon Kent saving the day was awesome. Great ending to a modern classic.
Anti OMD. Just this two worlds show how much awesome it is. The only Problem is that we need another Rebirth title to short up continuity.
Superman Reborn is a modern day classic
Very cool to see how this panned out, never knew much about Mr. Myxlplyx before this event and I loved him in this. The revelation and how it resolved in this issue was great and I haven't been more excited for Superman.
Fantastic
One of the better arcs in Superman history continues with more revelations that I feel have been done very tastefully and without destroying previously beloved characters.
I really liked this! It's totally weird, and there are a lot of unanswered questions, but it is an emotional, suspenseful, well-paced comic. If that is Ozymandias with the cloak and weird staff, though, what's up with the cloak and weird staff? Anyway, good stuff!
A nice but predictable ending and it promises a great future for Superman!
DC played it safe with the ending. Honestly with so much still shrouded in mystery, it seems like a lot of work just to get some red boots and a new belt... Maybe a younger body too?? Either way, we are back to the status quo and I'm assuming memories from both the New 52 and Post-Crisis, prior to Flashpoint are now all valid? In the double page spread, in Supes' rogue gallery, you see Ulysses in the lower left of the diamond in the middle (I think). It's just awkward that Clark now knows he hooked up with Wonder Woman a la New 52 while in a parallel continuity, he's married to Lois... Oh well, could be worse, Jon could've wound up with a half-sibling with even better powers than him...
A fine bit of closure. The characters voices are very well handled by Jurgens. The Artwork is a delight with some delicious pieces. Artistically Superman and its sister title are some of the most ambitious titles in the Nu52. While Superman Reborn may be little more than a patch of the awful Nu52 Superman character, it is one of the most competently done patches in recent memory.
This was a satisfying end to the crossover, I would say. I wish there had been a little more dealing with Myx, but honestly the incredibly hopeful and charming ending more than brightened my day!
Reborn did a great job explaining the blue energy in past issues of Superman as well as the other Clark Kent and even what Lana was dealing with in Superwoman. It was genius how it all cane together in a way that was plausible. Question; as Mr Oz is talking in last panels it appears the very last panel focuses on a red planet. Is this a clue as to who is behind everything?
This event was a disappointment for me. What happened in the story is exactly what I thought would happen, but with very little explanations. Apart from the Clark Kent revelation in the second issue, nothing really surprised nor excited me. Still, the new status quo is interesting and I know that the best is yet to come for Superman.
well the art is definitely off...
it starts with Jon being happy that his parents have rescued him... but they don't know him. Superman's costume is a bit different and he refers to Lois as "Ms Lane" and says that they will find the kid's parents once they are done here...
omg this is so stupid
myx is mean and is leaving and Superman can't make him stay and help.. they don't remember Jon.. then Jon talks to two glowing blue ghosts and blasts Myx with something.. Myx leaves... saying that HE is coming and is much worse... we assume Oz I guess? Manhattan?
then the blue ghosts merge with Superman and Lois... and they remember Jon... and they all cry and hug....
and we see Oz saying th more
