Murphy and Dave Stewart don't know how to create a book that isn't simply stunning, and that attention to detail only makes those heartfelt reunions and heartbreaking twists hit that much harder. I simply adore this series, and Book Six is no exception. Read Full Review

Murphy delivers some beautiful art in the issue. The visuals are as compelling as the story and brilliantly bring the action to life.  Read Full Review

Batman: Beyond the White Knight #6 is a solid, well-developed issue. Despite not featuring Terry this time around, it presents good character development for Bruce, Dick, and Harley, as well as the intimidating introduction of Blight, with a cliffhanger to leave readers on the edge of their seats until next issue. Hopefully, Terry will return next time. What do you think will happen next? Read Full Review

Comic Watch - Dustin Gebel Oct 25, 2022

Batman: Beyond the White Knight #6 is an interesting but frustrating read thanks to its dense visual storytelling contrasted against the overstuffed plot. The visual elements of the book, including the art, coloring, and use of shadows are all firing at the full cylinder to tell a complex, powerful story of adopted families and the struggle to maintain those relationships. However, the emotional and narrative core are undercut by the overreaching of plot elements and characters that permeate the page. The series could have either used an additional couple of issues or been split up into two miniseries structured like the original White Knight and Curse of the White Knight. This is an issue and series geared towards fans of the batfamily and the Murphyverse, but may continue to disappoint fans of Terry McGinnis and the core Batman Beyond concept. Read Full Review

Overall, the action is great but this is lacking something to make it feel like a truly compelling alternate world. Read Full Review

I feel the White Knight universe is just sputtering along to its final conclusion at this point. I think if one really wanted to take a look at Murphy's vision for these characters, they could go read the original White Knight series and leave it at that. The flaws of the series currently outweigh the positives by a very wide margin. I don't think there's much left to do other than stop Mr. Powers and have Bruce and Harley run away together like he and Selina Kyle did at the end of The Dark Knight Rises (which for Bruce and Harley, feels like a very odd thing indeed.)
