This book is a creative masterpiece. Kurt Busiek continuously displays his storytelling expertise. John Paul Leon delivers a delightful, 80's aesthetic to the book. The character designs, landscapes, and action scenes continue to deliver a unique display of mastery unlike any other book I'm reading today. I've said it before and it continues to be true. Batman: Creature of the Night is an incredible story. A simple concept has been handled so thoughtfully and with a surprising amount of depth. Creature of the Night has lots some of its punch with the third chapter. A long delay and unnecessary complexity have somewhat detached the story from what made it compelling in the first place. Still, it reads and looks as good as anything else on the stands, and if you've enjoyed the series so far and want to see it through to the end, you should absolutely buy this book. Read Full Review

A very good issu. I didn't see the revelation coming and I appreciate Busiek link this one of my favorite Stephen King book.
The end is very sad & strange. I will wait eager for the end.

I thought my enthusiasm for this book waned a bit over how long ago the last issue was... nope. One of the best books out right now.

Stunning, haunting, dark, a bit depressing, very sad, and very well done. And also a bit of a reminder why someone like Batman would not be so effective in a real world where the bad guys aren't clowns, aliens, or secret societies but instead are just corruptible human beings.
