But Why Tho? - Kate Snchez Oct 30, 2019

The series has given us beautiful moments like Dinah becoming Earth's Green Lantern, but it's also shown us Alfred having to kill his son after a painful goodbye to Damian. There is a lot of meat in a story that also brings such detailed moments of dismemberment and gore. DCeasedis why I love horror. Read Full Review

Dark Knight News - Steve J Ray Oct 30, 2019

This is a tale of heroism and of sacrifice. In this issue many lay down their lives to save others, and sometimes it's not the characters you'd ever truly consider heroic, or selfless that are the ones making these sacrifices. I don't want to give anything away because this is one of those series that I urge every DC Comics fan to read. Is it harrowing? Sure. Scary? Heck yeah! Violent? Yes, indeed. Heartbreaking? Indubitably. But for every tear, for every moment of horror or heartbreak… Read Full Review

DCeased #6 was an emotional finish to a fantastic series, and one that any comicbook fan or non fan should read. So many moments in this issue, and in this series, remind us what it means to be a hero, and what courage it takes to make the ultimate sacrifice. Read Full Review

This whole series has been so fresh and creative with emotional writing along with paralyzing and terrifying action scenes, which make this a recipe for one of the best limited runs of the decade. Read Full Review

Forces Of Geek - Lenny Schwartz Nov 4, 2019

This leads into one of the most horrifying endings ever. I can't say much more without ruining it. But man, it is spectacular. The whole series was. Let us hope Tom Taylor writes another one. This is some truly great work. Read Full Review

Black Nerd Problems - Mikkel Snyder Oct 31, 2019

All in all, the conclusion to DCeased is fitting. The joint efforts of Taylor, Hairsine, Edwards, and Guadiano produced a riveting conclusion to the “not-a-zombie” epic, although it didn't quite reach the same emotional highs of the preceding issues, and the comedy doesn't connect in the same way. However, it's still provided a satisfying capstone to the series, while leaving enough doors open for more exploration if Taylor decides to mess with our hearts again. I'm almost certain he will. There is enough story for a second chapter and maybe even if its just not the zombiefication of the DC characters again itd be fun seeing how Taylor could revisit this fascinating Elseworlds again. Read Full Review

    Comic Watch - Bethany W Pope Nov 6, 2019

A miniseries about a zombie-like apocalypse has absolutely no business being this beautiful, touching, or straight-up fun. DCeased #6(Taylor, Hairsine, Edwards, Gaurdiano, Beredo)proved a fine conclusion to a wonderful event. Do pick it up. Read Full Review

The Batman Universe - Tony Hammack Nov 1, 2019

For a story so grim, I laughed pretty hard at Oliver's reaction to Damian saying Bruce did not have a contingency plan for him. For an ego like Oliver's, this probably stung. There are sometimes jokes about Oliver Queen being a poor man's Bruce Wayne. Even Bruce thinks he is not dangerous enough to take seriously. Read Full Review

Sequential Planet - Steven Martinez Nov 1, 2019

DCeased (2019-) #6 sticks the landing for the story in a satisfying way, although it's still bleak and a downer, like the story has been. Fantastic art from the whole team set the mood and tone perfectly and deliver some "wow" moments. Read Full Review

Beyond The Panel - Jideobi Odunze Oct 30, 2019

When all is said and done, DCeased is a book that has no impact on main continuity of the DC Universe. Yet at the same time that doesn't matter. This was a story worth telling, an experience that will rock your world, and one worth talking about for all the ways that it challenges the cliche of most apocalyptic stories set in a superhero world. Now part of me wants to believe this is he end, but I couldn't help noticing that there was something about this final chapter that wasn't too conclusive. It makes you feel like there could be more, and could you argue with that possibility? Read Full Review

Throughout DCeased #6 we are given one memorable moment after another. The actions and payoff to the character arcs for Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Superboy, Cyborg and others was all deeply satisfying. This has been a fun ride with a lot of bumps along the way. The series has never been flawless, but this final issue has suffered the most from its super fast pacing. Frankly, the issue is so fast that it's almost like the creative team didn't even notice the more problematic moments in the story. Read Full Review
