DC are moving to a non-glossy paper due to the whole Walmart deal. I really enjoy non-glossy paper so it's a win-win situation in my book
The lightning-fueled finale of "Flash War"! Zoom adapts two new Speed Force powers into his arsenal against both Barry Allen and Wally West. What are these strange new powers? What can they do? And how will this haunt the Scarlet Speedster long after "Flash War" is over? It's the power of two Flashes pitted against the seemingly unstoppable Hunter Zolomon!
All in all, a much-hyped event that lived up to the hype, "Flash War" will go on to shape the DCU for the next few years. Read Full Review

The Flash continues to be one of my favorite reads each month. It always delivers and Williamson/Porter/Hi-Fi are making for a terrific creative team. Read Full Review
But the biggest strength of this book is giving everyone in the Flash family their own little time to shine. Wally finds it within himself to again become the fastest man alive. Personally, I am a kid of the 90s so Wally was my Flash growing up. Seeing Wally return to the fastest of the speedsters hit me in all the nostalgic feels. Kid Flash also grows in his powers and is able to get himself and his Aunt home safely. Read Full Review
The Flash War has lived up to the hype. Williamson has delivered an amazing story, answered a long-standing debate, and returned a long-missed member of the Flash family. I will be eagerly awaiting the next issue to see the fallout from this one. Read Full Review
THE FLASH #50 proves to be quite the memorable issue. Joshua Williamson delivers a fantastic finale to the FLASH WAR arc. It's sure to ignite excitement for what comes next in the series. Howard Porter's art is, as always, top notch. Read Full Review
A great oversized issue with only minor stumbles. Read Full Review
Joshua Williamson and Howard Porter's epic Flash showdown comes to a shocking close in Flash #50, shaking up virtually every element of the Flash-verse, removing some players while adding others, and containing at least one moment that left this reviewer cheering out loud. Read Full Review
I'm just as engaged as I have been since issue #1, and it's going to be quite an enjoyable ride! Read Full Review
In many ways, a story like this represents the best that modern DC has to offer - it not only plays with larger-than-life cosmic forces, but leverages character dynamics and continuity in a way where these superheroic icons keep growing and changing in a way that feels satisfying and internally consistent. Combine that with some superb artwork, and you can't go wrong with The Flash #50. Read Full Review
The story moves at a dizzying pace, with emotions flying high with multiple characters and a lot of time-travel in between. Read Full Review
The finale of Flash 3 is upon us. The war is over for now. There are some major twists in this issue that have repercussions for issues to come and even potentially beyond the Flash family itself. Is any problem really resolved here? Not much but as usual Barry takes it all on his shoulders and plans for the next battle ahead, although he has no idea what monster is coming next. Flash #50 caught me off guard with how engaged it kept me throughout most of the comic. Ive had many a problem with Flash post-Rebirth, but this was a genuinely great issue. The pacing is solid, the emotional beats land, and the action is cool. This one earns a recommendation. Check it out. Read Full Review
As the final chapter of Flash War, this isn't an ideal entry point into the series. For those who are already running alongside Barry Allen, however, this is a fantastic issue and worthy conclusion to the saga so far. Read Full Review
If readers don't come away at least a little choked up, they may need to be checked out by a physician. There's not a single page within this issue that doesn't scream of passion and appreciation for the legacy of the Flash. The fact that the audience can feel it immediately off the pages is a testament to the work of these creators. This is issue 50, so folks considering picking this up may want to do a little homework and pickup the past trades. Several past storylines do culminate in or hint at events that unfold within these pages. It may seem daunting, but it's well worth the trip through this Speed Force because what has defined this run, so far, is that it has never lost sight of being entertaining and maintained true heart. As the latest arc in The Flash comes to an close, the past is very present in the narrative, but a wholly satisfying conclusion is achingly just out of reach. Read Full Review
Despite its flaws, The Flash #50 delivers an epic and emotionally rich conclusion to "Flash War." Read Full Review
The Flash #50 shakes things up a lot really changing things for the world of the Flash. There's a lot that has me excited but the issue feels like it's just a bridge to the next thing as opposed to being a story on its own. It hints at something big to come when itself was billed as that something big. Fun, but some air has been let out of it all. Read Full Review
Flash #50 is a satisfying conclusion to the "Flash War" story arc and sets the stage for stories to come. Read Full Review
While the overall narrative of the War seemed to fall apart a bit by the end, the story ended up being a game changer for fans of the Flash and we even get a fan favorite return by the end. The Flash War may not have hit on all cylinders, but it sets up a lot of interesting things going forward for the book. Read Full Review
Overall, the book is a reflection of its writing and artwork: a great, big-picture concept that needs refinement. Read Full Review
This was a solid and entertaining finale to this amazing story. Williamson and Porter killed it on this arc. Loved all the stuff with Barry and Wally. Also that twist at the end was pretty damn good. Can't wait for more
Good read, did anyone notice the change in paper stock or was it just me ?
What a great finale to such a great story. Flash War has been incredible, and the ending suggests that there's still so much more to come. Especially considering THAT return at the very end.
Great artwork for a Flash battle. I didn’t care for the extra “forces”, but overall this was a great comic.
The war ends and I seriously think there are no winners.
Barry and Wally continue fighting Zoom, while Iris, Wallace and Commander Cold try to get back to any time. Flashes chase after the villain through the speed force to stop him from realizing his plan.
In this chase sequence, Howard Porter proves he is a great pick to be drawing a Flash book. The feeling of speed when speedsters are blazing through the speed force, the way said speed force and hypertime look, all the lightning generated from runners. It's just a treat for the eye.
As for the story, it's fine. This is a satisfying conclusion with some interesting twists and a really surprising ending or endings if we count the epilogue. But now, with the Flas more
Thank you for destroying time travel, you idiots.
