Chaos erupts on the shores of Shang Tsungs Island! What happens when Johnny and Sonya are forced to fight their own daughter, whos been possessed by the Kamidogu? And what happens when Mileena and Kotal Kahn finally meet face-to-face?
All in all this comic is a fun read. There's a lot of twist and turns that will have hardcore fans on their toes wondering what will happen next. We seem to be getting closer to the end game and it's proving to be very exciting. Read Full Review
Mortal Kombat X #9 may start a new story arc, but the dialogues alone are read like some young adult-themed novels. The art is the heavy lifter here, though the artists have their respective shortcomings as well. Hopefully, this pessimist view changes in the remaining/succeeding chapters to make the prequel Mortal Kombat X the canon of all Mortal Kombat narrative, as well as finishing off in a rather positive note indeed.
