Jason Todd’s downward spiral began when he was murdered by The Joker. But deep in his heart he blamed himself for charging headfirst into deadly danger. His rage and self-loathing caused him to lash out at those around him-keeping friends and family alike at arm’s length. Until the Outlaws. First Arsenal and Starfire, and later, Artemis and Bizarro, saw through his defenses. Now it’s time to pay it forward to the one person who represents all the mistakes he’s made in his own life: Duela Dent. But can he save The Joker’s Daughter...when he couldn’t even save himself? Don’t miss the end of the Outlaw era!

After many years reading this title, I really am sad to see it go. They ended this the right way though. It was worth reading this book to get to this finale. Read Full Review

Throughout Red Hood: Outlaw there have been some wonderful and not-so-wonderful moments, delivering a story the impressed more at times than others. While the flow of the plot and the art werent always that appealing, the characters–Jason, Artemis, and Bizzaro– were endearing and entertaining and I did enjoy reading them as a team. Im grateful for the stories we were given and hope to see more with these characters in the future. Read Full Review

While I wanted to love Scott Lobdell's conclusion to his Red Hood run, there were just too many things left on the table for him to clean up satisfyingly and while I love the inclusion of the Joker's Daughter here, there wasn't enough time to really do her any justice and ultimately, she felt like a strange choice to focus as much time on here as we do. There are some nice moments overall, but they feel out of nowhere here and the art just isn't something that I was a fan of overall.   Read Full Review

As a send off for this run I was hoping for a little more, not explosions or action, but something that felt really wrapped up. The story does try to do that, and the ending certainly gives one that feeling, but in general it didn't land for me. Duela's story reads like a series of Major Scenes that should have been part of arcs, while the loose ends it wraps up feel truncated and lacking real grounding. Together they make a story that reads more like a series of choppy scenes spliced together instead of the victory lap it wants to be. Read Full Review

This issue is the last hurrah of writer Scott Lobdell on the title"and it's just as cluttered and haphazard as what has come before it. Read Full Review
