    Comicosity - Matt Santori Dec 14, 2016

With the arrival of Wonder Womans ultimate challenger, Im left at the edge of my seat for Year Ones conclusion in issue #14. But truly, theres been no stone unturned along the way, as Rucka, Scott, and Fajardo craft this vision so succinctly and yet richly that I could simply immerse myself in any given issue for weeks on end. Thank goodness for the depth of Wonder Woman, the sheer commitment of its creative team, and the ability to have it all, maybe when we need it the most. Read Full Review

DC Comics News - Sean Blumenshine Dec 14, 2016

Overall, this is an excellent issue. There's no real action so don't get too excited for that. But it more than makes up for that in charm and personality. Every inch of the art is beautiful and fun to look at. There's wonderful character moments for Diana and the ending is very cool even if it is a little too much of a coincidence. I highly recommend reading this issue. Read Full Review

Im glad that Greg Rucka is a feminist writer. Wonder Woman is written in a smart way that will please anyone who cares about social justice and those who do not. She does not preach. She is still innocent. But she is inspiring and caring. This year one storyline has to be one of the best rendition of Wonder Womans origin ever written. Read Full Review

Heroes Direct - Eammon Jacobs Dec 17, 2016

Towards the end of Wonder Woman #12, we're re-introduced to an iconic character from Diana's history – and it ties neatly into events from previous issues. Even though this vengeful villain is truly intimidating – Wonder Woman will surely be more than a match for him. Especially given how powerful and inspiring she's drawn to look across this series. We're loving her image and the rest of the art as a whole. It really brings the inspirational themes of hope that DC are trying the bring in across their titles. Overall, this latest instalment in the retelling of Diana's origin is a worthy read, and really sets up the conflict for the rest of the series. Read Full Review

    ComicBuzz - EJ G. Dec 15, 2016

I often find myself calling her Diana more than Wonder Woman these days solely due to the stories told in the rebirth series. Scott & co. took a goddess and toned her down to one of the most human and relatable characters I've seen in the superhero genre this year. What this issue and entire series taught me was that its not about how much action you can jam pack into a comic but that good story telling and writing coupled with spot on artwork and most importantly, being a fan of what you're doing are all what makes a successful comic book. Black Nerd Problems - Omar Holmon Dec 15, 2016

This series is only getting stronger with each issue and this creative team is making the story come around full circle as well. This is the treatment Wonder Woman been deserving off people. Diana dropped that New 52 garb and got back on her GANGSTA warrior shit. Tell'em why you mad, Diana. Tell'em why, D! Read Full Review

The long-awaited appearance of a known Wonder Woman rival gives the book a great hook for the next entry, and this is the most well rounded the character has been for some time. In short, Wonder Woman is more than deserving of a spot on your pull list. Read Full Review
