This series is absolutely perfect to bring in new readers like myself but it also has lots to offer the long-time readers. DC is on fire with Rebirth and we can’t be more proud that they have lived up to all the promises. So what are you doing go to your local comic book store or your digital comic app and get this series, you won’t be disappointed. Another week and another amazing issue of Wonder Woman.  Greg Rucka continues his fairy tale-like (re)telling of Wonder Woman's origin and I loved every minute of it.  This issue has the bonus of connecting some major parts to the Lies story and it simply looked great.  Everyone should be reading Wonder Woman! Scotts full page delivery of their arrival in Wonder Woman #6, by the way, left me speechless. Every issue weve been granted a knock-down, no-holds-barred beauty of a full page, and its stunning to me that after seven issues and seven reviews I can still be so in awe of what this creative team is churning out. Wonder Woman #6 is starting to help piece the puzzle together behind Wonder Woman's identity and why she can't find her homeland. Hopefully the main story will start to make a lot more sense when it picks up in the next issue. We have to eat our previous words however. We initially thought this rehash of her backstory was going to be pointless and boring. And it's anything but. Seeing the origin story from different perspectives and in a different style is thoroughly entertaining to read. Of the even-numbered issues centering on Diana's origins, Wonder Woman #6 is the best so far. Filled with humor, Diana's introduction to the outside world is hardly what she expected. Wonder Woman has, over its first six issues, established itself as the most thoughtful, quality book in the DC rebirth line, and that doesn't show any signs of changing. But while I like both sides of the story, there's no denying that this year one plotline has been the stronger, better-developed side of the story. Overall, this is a good issue. Greg Rucka excels at Diana's characterizations both as a young girl and as an adult. Adding Minerva into the origin this early is a really good idea and I'm excited to see where that goes. The art is really great as well. However, the issue is a little dull in places with a little too much focus on the military not understanding Diana. I still recommend checking the issue out; there's a lot of good material in this one. Read Full Review

Wonder Woman #6 may have had little plot progression, but Rucka's character work is enough for the story to flourish. Seeing how the characters came together is intriguing, especially when compared with the present timeline in the odd-numbered issues. Another good issue by Rucka on Wonder Woman. While I prefer Lies over Year One, I still think that they are both great stories that explore the different sides of Wonder Woman's lore.

Liked the issue was worried about 1 issue being current and other being origin but its working so far.
