    Comicosity - Aaron Long Dec 15, 2016

Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures #2 is the most fun youll have reading a comic this weekand possibly this month. This issue is safe for kids but certainly not just for them, and any fan of either licensed property will find things to love in this comic. Im truly blown away by how well the team is merging these animated worlds and delivering a fresh story that feels like the cartoons I loved as a kid, and Im totally on board for the next issue. The writing challenge was to find a plausible way to bring both groups together. As time and dimension travel is common for both IDW's Turtles and DC's Dark Knight, this was not unexpected. Manning has done a solid job bringing these groups together and uniting them in common cause. It will be interesting to see how he continues to develop these relationships. Read Full Review

Issue 2 more than fulfills the promise of the first issue. I expect this series to be an epic parade of cameos and team ups from the casts of both shows. This series will definitively answer so many of the "wouldn't it be cool if"" type questions that fans have been talking about for decades. The answer, I expect, will be a resounding "Yes". This series is fun for the whole family and I am eagerly looking forward to the next issue. Read Full Review

Word Of The Nerd - Brent Jackson Dec 14, 2016

Overall Batman/TMNT Adventures #2 is as good as a set up issue can be. We get the usually hero's meet up hero's fight trope, which if I had not seen in the previous Mini series of Batman/TMNT mini series might have been a little more interesting. It was still fun to see these versions of the characters going at it and it has some geniunely funny jokes in it! This book is still a lot of fun and is a great all ages book that comics desperately need. Besides a little hiccup the art on a few pages, it still looks good and does a great job o meshing together two animated stylings. Now that the set up is over we can get into the meat of the series with issue #3 and that has me excited! Read Full Review

Weird Science - Branden Murray Dec 14, 2016

It difficult not to compare this crossover to the one done by James Tynion IV and Freddie Williams but it's really two totally different animals altogether. Batman/TMNT Adventures has a much more kid friendly feel than its predecessor at this point, which is ok. However if you're an adult here looking for enjoyment from the crossover, it would be primarily for the art because the story beats provided, up to this point, need to pick up.  Read Full Review

    GWW - Spfcderon Dec 13, 2016

Batman/TMNT Adventures #2 hasa predictable plot with familiar characters who have no chemistry with each other on the page. The artwork is good and showcases the animation style of each series, but the paint by numbers story becomes tedious quickly. Read Full Review

The series continues to move slowly, focusing an odd amount of attention on the villains considering that the heroes themselves are only just starting to cross paths. Read Full Review

    Batman-News - Jay Yaws Dec 14, 2016

This is exactly what you think you'd get out of an animated-style Batman and Ninja Turtles crossover. I wish it was more than just “exactly what you think”, but when it works it works well. While a few small but significant scripting issues keep it from being great, the overall visual aesthetic and tone make this an enjoyable read. Hopefully this book will find its own identity in the next issue so as to become truly memorable, and even if it doesn't I'd still like to see more Batman stories done in this style. ok! so this is a Goofy and Silly comic ( VERY SILLY ) but it's also a lot of fun as well.

there were quite a number of times this issue gave me a REALLY good laugh!!!

some fans aren't going to enjoy the 'kiddie' or 'cartoony' tone to the comic, but i actually had a lot of fun reading this.
also i'm an absolute sucker for Batman The Animated Series, so i was reading the through Kevin Conroy/Mark Hamill colored lenses.

the personalities for Robin and Batgirl didn't feel quite like their cartoon counterparts, but they were both good in the story.

the Ninja Turtles felt pretty close to character from the Nickelodeon cartoon. Shredder didn't feel like the threatening character that he usually does.

There are a couple continuity errors that take me out of the story: Bebop and Rocksteady switch what side they are standing in and Batman does likewise with Robin and Batgirl. The fight scene is super forced and inauthentic, but humour makes it more enjoyable.
