Shattered Glass isn't your average Transformers tale... "Shards" is the story of the ongoing battle between the power-hungry Autobot autocrats and the freedom-fighting Decepticon laborers. Join author Danny Lore (James Bond, King in Black: Captain America, Champions) in exploring this fractured alternate universe just before it shatters.

In issue #3, Starscream seeks out more Decepticons to prevent another war that could destroy Cybertron, but memories of the past haunt every step. As the Autobots close in, Starscream must decide between peace for his planet and his former best friend.

Transformers: Shattered Glass #3 isn't a bad comic in any way. It's a solid edition that adds some depth to the overall story adding details. It's just a comic that doesn't feel like it quite stands on its own as entertaining. It continues the series' high level exploration of the world of “Shattered Glass”. This is one that might be a bit better to read as a trade because as single issues it feels a little lacking. Read Full Review

We get a glimpse at this Starscream's history and find out that Jetfire was a friend with loose alliances in this reality as well. Some things never change.

Another solid issue, this time with a focus on Starscream. I talked about this in previous issues but I do like how these mirror universe characters (at least the Decepticons) still have their basic personalities just with their moralities swapped. This is true for Starscream here still having an ego, a silver tongue, and seen as having shifty loyalties but being a standup individual.

Plot wise, we learn a bit more about the cliffhanger of the previous issue but probably is the weakest of the three issues so far. Still otherwise a good series so far.
