Transformers / Ghostbusters delivers a great mix of action, comedy, and horror, all blended together in a big bowl of nostalgia. It's a crossover 35 years in the making and it's definitely worth the wait. We're just getting started too, so I can't wait to see what else this mini-series has in store for us. Read Full Review
This issue was awesome! I was very nervous about two of my favorite properties teaming up, especially when they are not obvious crossover teams. Those nerves were quickly calmed as I went through the pages. The characterization of my favorite Transformers was spot on, which made it even more readable. I am really looking forward to issue #2! Transformers/Ghostbusters #1has the earmarks of a fun crossover. Burnham writes both the Transformers and Ghostbusters very well, capturing the essence of each franchise while Schoening's artwork blends G1 and IDW'sGhostbusterstogether in a nice fashion. While we don't get a lot of both groups together in this issue, the interactions between each individual character gives a promising impression for when the series will fully kick off its story. Any fan of TransformersandGhostbusterswill want to check out this introductory issue to this fun crossover. Read Full Review
Transformers/Ghostbusters #1 is a comic I'm honestly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I went in thinking a simple cash grab and came out smiling and wanting more. It's a celebration of two properties that feel so far apart but its shown can work together. Read Full Review
If I wanted to be hyper critical, I could say that it was a very quick read, but that's probably as much me speed reading it through these nostalgia lenses as anything else. It was fun, and there's not enough of that around these days. I enjoyed it, and I think a lot of others will, because when the creators are obviously having fun, that carries over to the reader. As with any series of this nature, the bulk of the book is used to get the pieces in place for future issues. This book's ability to make me thoroughly enjoy this setup is a bonus that is wholeheartedly welcomed. If the creative team can keep this level of quality in the subsequent issues this series has the potential to be a very welcome read for fans of the classic Transformersand Ghostbustersproperties. Honestly its a great start, with plenty of callbacks and references, and a scene featuring Starscream that youll (probably) be talking about for the rest of time. A funny opening salvo then, and hopefully a sign of great things to come for this mini-series. Read Full Review
A fun start for a hopefully fun anniversary crossover. Read Full Review

After it was announced that we were getting a legit Ghostbusters 3 I was so excited that I announced publicly that I would begin collecting the Ghostbusters comics.
My first book was Ghostbusters 20/20 and the enthusiasm went about as limp as your grandfather is right now.
I saw the announcement that the Ghostbusters would be teaming up with Transformers and my eyebrows perked up once again. It's a weird Idea but considering that the Ghostbusters have teamed up with most of the licensed characters across the IDW line, I guess we shouldn't be surprised.
I'm happy to report in this inconsequential blog that the comic is really good. It respects the source material from both franchises and weaves the ma more
