The 13th sign of the Zodiac is THE SPIDER?!?!?! Scorpio is on the verge of controlling the future and Spider-Man’s fight will take him on both sides of the English Channel. But when Scorpio compromises Parker Industries, what will this mean for Peter moving forward?!
Speaking of, visually seeing the toll this is taking on Spider-Man, let's give credit to Giuseppe Camuncoli on the track. This issue is visually vibrant and I love the contortions and movements he has Parker making when he has the mask on. Camuncoli is the perfect tag-team partner for Slott on this book. Don't even get me started on how he's making the background of all this foreign cities pop just as well. Amazing Spider-Man is flames and continues to be so yet again. Read Full Review
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #10 is another home-run for a creative team that's been on fire. Dan Slott continues to build drama into the conflict between Spider-Man and Scorpio, with twists and turns that have managed to keep their feud compelling over the better part of ten issues. That's no easy feat, but Slott pulls it off with grace. Though there are a couple of scenes that slow down the pace of the issue, the tremendous art of Giuseppe Camuncoli ensures there's always something pretty to look at on the page. Overall, this is a fun, exciting installment of a great series. Read Full Review
Amazing Spider-Man #10 is a great chapter in what has been a really interesting arc. Peter vs. The Zodiac is coming to a head and I'll be there for the grand finale. This creative team is firing on all cylinders and Amazing Spider-Man is in really good hands. Read Full Review
It's a dark issue in some ways, but one that also emphasizes Peter's resiliency. Plus, the banter between Anna Maria and The Living Brain make for a fun contrast to all the doom and gloom. Read Full Review
I really loved this book, I had faith in Slott and this team to come back and hook readers right back in after a lackluster effort last month. Amazing Spider-Man #10 still isn't perfect, but it's damn near close. Slott is still figuring out why this is different and how that different can be great without it not feeling like Spider-Man. Regardless, I am more than willing to stay along for the ride if issues like this keep coming. Read Full Review
Slott just gets Spider-Man. It feels traditional and fresh all at the same time. His ability to jam-pack an issue without making it feel convoluted will never not feel unique. Camuncoli has the unenviable task of following up an Alex Ross cover, but the guy is becoming one of my favorite ASM artists in quite some time. Read Full Review
Heroic Spidey using all his strength and resources against the one foe who is (literally) always a step ahead. Worth it for the last page cliffhanger... Read Full Review
Amazing Spider-Man (vol. 4) #10 takes full advantage of the new status quo of the series to deliver some unforgettable action sequences, solid laughs, and most of all, Spider-Man in his most essential form. Read Full Review
Amazing Spider-Man is a little cheesy but it has heart. It might be a little bit ho-hum for long-time readers but Slott shows that he knows how to work with his collaborators and turn out an entertaining story. The team has coalesced so much to this point that sometimes they're going to churn out an issue like this. They moved the chains on the A, B and C plots just like you would expect. That was the goal here. It only feels disappointing because of the talent involved. We've seen what these creators can do when they let loose. I guess we'll just have to wait a bit longer. This Spider-Man story hasn't been the best, but I'm still enjoying Slott's overall work. I really want to see him push this Parker Industries storyline as far as he can. Read Full Review
This wasnt a bad issue; it just wasnt anything too exciting. Dan Slott writes everyone well enough, but this storyline just isnt all that interesting. The art on the other hand has been very good and helps boost the enjoyment of the issue. Read Full Review
