I have no doubt in my mind that the lack of empathy so many people have for the incarcerated wouldn't allow many of then to endanger their lives for "worthy causes". In fact, we have a lot of history (much of it more recent than you'd think) in which that actually happened. In the same second I think "Have you no faith in humanity?" and "Yea, people = shit". Slipknot references aside, Spencer weaves together a compellingly structured story that's so good, that you can't even force yourself to knock it because of the depressing tone. Read Full Review

As I said, Part 2 of Hunted is a considerable drop in more ways than one. The events that transpire just don’t hold your attention as well as the previous ones did, and the artwork takes a serious turn into wonky territory. Anyone who isn’t a fan of Ramos’s work already will likely not be able to enjoy this issue at all. It’s a shame, but we still have enough issues left in this story for things to get back on track. All in all, not a terrible issue. I may seem like I've been nitpicking this issue to death when in truth I did enjoy it for the most part. Overall, the Hunted continues to be a frustrating, muddled affair, that thus far refuses to have any sort of focus but hey at least Ramos art gives you something fun to look at. The villain this entire story is centered around is barely mentioned here, while also failing to make an appearance, moving aside for Arcade to take the spotlight. I'm having a hard time getting into "Hunted" due to the slow start and even slower second chapter in the story arc. The issue has a clever backbone with creepy captions about predators, but the biggest failing is how it lacks Spider-Man. The storyline about MJ was especially great

The storyline continues to be very good. Lots of high stakes for the characters involved here, and Spencer manages to write everything very well.

Great continuation to Hunted, its really starting to have weight, which i really like. I also fucking loved the cliffhanger at the end and am really freaking excited for the role that will play in the issues to come.

It's a good Spidey-comic, but the shadow of a potentially-better Spidey-comic seems to loom over every page. The focus actively avoids the principal characters to filigree around the edges of the premise instead. Is that becoming a chronic problem for this volume?

It's not bad, but lack of Kraven and Spider-Man makes it a bit hard to give it a perfect score. Writing is solid and art is nice, but it's still not Spencer's A-game. Although the last page and the blue boxes are.

A bit of a mess and Nick sure loves his force fields. As a regular Spider-man story this is fine, but knowing this is supposed to be a Last Hunt-esque story makes it a bit insulting. I personally can't stand Sword Art Online type stories involving VR that traps the user, it is very cliche at this point.
