Aaron truly captures the voice of the Phoenix throughout the issue. This is a skill set that very few writers are able to master. The Phoenix is an entity of light and darkness. She is a balance, creating life and burning away what does not work. Aaron understands this and paints a truly illustrative series of events with a fresh take of the Phoenix Force. Read Full Review
Javier Garron delivers some impressive and beautifully detailed art throughout this issue. There are so many great visual moments to see in each page and even the starkness of the void has some great imagery. Read Full Review
If at the end of the first chapter you were still on the fence? I would say that Avengers #41 does much more to give you a reason to invest in this story. Read Full Review
This issue is all about the fighting, but the definition of fighting has many subtle shades, and the combatants are truly entertaining matches. But they better not have killed Howard The Duck. Read Full Review
Avengers, Phoenixes, White Rooms, Man-Things, and even throw in a Howard the Duck for good measure. Avengers #41 is a comic that practically demands that you just shut down your brain and absorb Jason Aaron and Javier Garrn's artwork on a completely 13-year-old level, invoking the days when you just didn't want to think too deeply about comics and just enjoy them on a big old dumb and mindless level. People punching people, what more can we really ask of an Avengers comic? And if that's what we demand of our super-heroes, Aaron and Garrn give us exactly what we want. Read Full Review
If the arc can ride this momentum and find an ending as creative as its character lineup, this will be one of the more entertaining Phoenix stories in recent memory. Read Full Review
Would I buy next issue? Genuinely on the fence. With so many books looking to command both my money and attention, this just doesn't quite reach that tipping point for me. That being said, not a bad book, and one that should have a following in the younger readership. Read Full Review
Avengers #41 is a single-issue microcosm of Aaron's run with the team: a solid outing, but there could be more. Read Full Review
So, we can all agree that the only purpose of this story is to give fans a bunch of costume designs for the Phoenix version of characters? Because that is the only engaging thing in this story for me so far. Read Full Review
I read the Supreme Power MAX series, so any appearance of Hyperion and Nighthawk will get love from me, but does not prevent me from appreciating Shang-Chi beating Hyperion by just being still. Lesson.

RIP duck
Honestly, the art is the problem for me with this issue. The rest is pretty fun.
Okay, nevermind that "ooh, is Echo going to survive?" nonsense. You tell me RIGHT NOW that Howard the Duck is OK, or ...
There are parts I like but parts that don't really work for me unfortunately. I hope it picks up and gets a bit better. On a side note I was glad to see howard the duck go now if they could get rid of all the squadron supreme members that would be great I absolutely loathe those characters personally but I know that isn't going to happen
I gave up on emotionally attaching myself to this book a while ago now and I just enjoy the fireworks and new costumes because that's all there is left below all that prolonged narration by Aaron. It's not as deep as it thinks it is. Garron is fantastic as always.
RIP to Quentin Quire tbh.
The humor here is corny to say the least. I’m afraid this not really going anywhere, just a jokey, smashy romp. If that sounds fun, you might dig it.
Ehh. It had some pretty good art and was readable and some of the black panthers story was cool but overall a little corny to me. Im not sure why this series is so underwhelming most of the time but it is.
Provavelmente é genial demais para mentes pequenas.
This is probably the worst writing by Aaron I've read. It's getting infuriating.
