This book is one of my favourite books and has been since last year. I look forward to reading it every month, and to date Jed Mackay and the team have never let me down. If you read comics for the fun and enjoyment of excellent storytelling with fun and vivacious characters, you cannot do better than read this book. Read Full Review
MacKays adventures with Felicia continue to be some of the best stuff Marvel is contributing to the comics rack. Theres so much potential with a character who delights in flitting from one end of the Marvel Universe to another, occasionally deciding to do something heroic like shes doing in the second issue of her new series. MacKay might not always be able to nail something quite this fun, but itll be interesting to see him try in the future. Read Full Review
BLACK CAT #2 is the comic I wanted AND needed. The art is great, the story is great, and every panel on every page is hyper-focused on one word: FUN. This is the most entertaining comic I've read in months, and I'm greatly looking forward to what happens next. Read Full Review
The second issue is just as good as the first, and I have complete confidence that future issue that will be even better, Read Full Review
"Black Cat" #2 is a roller-coaster heist story from start to finish. Read Full Review
Black Cat #2 is a white knuckle thrill ride that feels like a heist film set inside of a superhero universe, with its witty dialogue and dynamic art adding a unique flair to the proceedings. Given the ending of the issue, which I honestly never saw coming, it looks like Felicia may be able to actually turn the tide against Knull. Read Full Review
Black Cat takes the essence of a good heist story and adds several engaging curve balls. Read Full Review
It also features several nods to Spider-Man history including Anti-Venom Symbiotes and dusts of both the Spider-Mobile and Goblin Glider. And, if that wasn't enough, ends on one hell of a cliffhanger as we're going to see just what a mega-powered Black Cat is capable of. Read Full Review
Villa delivers some beautifully detailed imagery throughout the issue. The characters look great and the action has a brilliant, cinematic quality to it. Read Full Review
Black Cat #2 moves quickly, but it thankfully keeps its pace restrained in in ways that make sense. Read Full Review
A fun little heist comic that shows just how good a writer Jed MacKay really is. Read Full Review
Reading Black Cat #2 made me realize how much we need a horror heist movie. Has that ever happened? This King in Black tie-in mixes the fun of Black Cat's heists with the horrors of Knull's invasion. It shows that this event isn't all doom and gloom. Read Full Review
Felicia Hardy is gonna steal a sorcerer supreme from the god of symbiotes! While she even acknowledges the ridiculous nature of it, she maintains her determination to pull the heist! Read Full Review
Love it.
There is no reason for this to be so good. But it is. One of the best tie-ins this event has.
Felicia rescues Dr. Strange, as promised. But when he's not ready to step up for void-god-fighting duty, Felicia tries taking his place. This will end well! It's a simple, speedy heist story, integrated nicely into the cosmic apocalypse setting of the event. The plot comes together a bit too easily. But the elegant pluck Felicia and her crew show in the face of truly ridiculous odds make it a blast to follow them on this suicide mission.
This is a stupidly enjoyable comic.
I used to put a quarter in that Spider-Car outside the Toys R Us. This plus the Anti-Venom symbiote being used throughout the tale gave clout to a book that can easily be slept on.
Black Cat's crew are comedy relief, but still manage to be cool. A ghost dog? Better than Harley Quinn's beaver. Hell, this whole team shits on the little kittens Catwoman got in her hometown right now (the whole reason I stopped reading that title for now).
A high-soeed chase against symbiote dragons spells out just how action-packed this issue is, but then to throw in a cliffhanger similar to when Wonder Woman picked up Mjolnir in Marvel vs. DC will keep me locked in for anotber issue.

The beginning was great but then the story wasted almost a third of the page count on a pursuit where nothing really happens. Really wanted to give a higher score.
