Casagrande delivers some beautifully detailed art filled with great action. The story is filled with tension and Casagrande delivers on that tension visually. Read Full Review

Blade #10 delivers a fine climactic battle sequence, though, as it incorporates all of its characters in a quick-paced brawl, which Casagrande executes with plenty of panache. It's unclear what any of this was about, but the fights were certainly thrilling to read. Read Full Review

Blade #10 ends the Adana, the arc, and Bryan Hill's tenure on the series with the most generic, underwhelming finale possible. Casagrande's art is solid, and in fairness, the ending is complete, but the ending only works if you accept the uber-strong threat of the Adana has suddenly become a basic demon that can be struck down with a sword. Blade defeats the ultimate evil using a strat borrowed from (checks notes) Naruto.
This run ends the way that it started: bafflingly limp in characterization and thin in narrative.
    The art was pretty good.

This run got progressively worse as it went on. It started out well and then slid down to this rather disappointing and non-climatic ending. How stupid this villain is to wear the one weapon that could slay her on her back. Come on. We saw this ending coming from a mile away. Everything was just so convenient. It's just bad.

This was clearly the real end of the first arc with Adana defeated and now Blade has to fix all the world wide effects she has put into motion. My guess is Marvel will ignore that the entire world is filled with evil and just go right into blood hunt (not everyone is vampires). This will be a plot point that is never resolved. I figured Hill would fix this in another 10 issue and get the grand conclusion or something along those lines. Instead... we get this.

Also speaking of Adana... wow was she weak and quickly defeated for a literal element of evil. Like she was a concept. How do you kill the concept of evil so easily? At least her body. This should have b more
