And so, another good Fantastic Four story, well-told, art problems aside, brings us nearly to the end of the first year of the revived FF book. All the characterizations are clicking, and Franklins power problems and their effect on his morale pose an interesting conflict, of which we are surely seeing only the beginning. Dan Slott continues to lay the groundwork for what may prove to be one of The FFs most creatively fertile periods. Read Full Review
This was a fun little one-shot that sets up the future of the book, but is even more concerned with having fun. I enjoyed the focus on Franklin and Val and had a smile on my face the whole time reading it. Read Full Review
A perfect blend of action and comedy: the perfect balance for the FF. Read Full Review
Under Dan Slott, Fantastic Four continues to focus on the family. The latest issue is no different; the heroes have to overcome a driving test and Franklin remains a stagnant character. The art team makes the most of the script by complementing its sci-fi elements. Read Full Review
Teen angst mixes with dimensional travel in the way that only the Fantastic Four can, with several different artists working on a fun story. Read Full Review
This issue was alright. It's not bad, but nothing that really grabs at the reader. It's decent filler and hopefully the next issue will be more interesting. Read Full Review
Renfamous makes a great comicbook villain.
Very enjoyable issue with great F4 family dynamic from Slott. Medina and Libranda flowed well together in the art department!!
It was a fun read but theres just something missing from this run. Its just seems a little corny in some parts.
Fun issue, but I don't know that people who aren't interested in the family dynamics of the FF would feel.
"I know i have you in unconditional love. But what you must understand is thatbthis mask is my face now the face. I made for myself."
I have been enjoying the Fantastic Four since the relaunch, but I did not enjoy this issue at all.
Largely inconsequential.
I don't know what's worse, my feeling that this issue is essentially "What if the Fantastic Four starred in a Simpsons episode," or my suspicion that if I said that to Dan Slott, he would take it as a compliment.
