• Things are going SO WELL for Gert and Victor. That can't possibly bode well, can it?
• It already hasn't boded well for Chase, who has unresolved feelings on the matter...
• Karolina is keeping a secret from the rest of the Runaways and Nico in particular. The fallout could be the straw that breaks the camel's back for your favorite teens.

The fact that this series hasn't skipped a beat without Anka on interiors is nothing short of amazing, but the fact that Rowell and Genolet are able to deliver such a strong entry point for new or lapsed readers makes Runaways #22 a perfect read. Read Full Review
There's no comic on stands that's quite as infinitely charming and nuanced as Runaways. Read Full Review
Runaways continues to find delightfulness in all of its stories, both the character-driven drama and the character-driven action! Read Full Review
It isn't until Victor goes to try and alleviate the tension that things get real dicey in this issue. I love Rowell's use of your typical teenage dramatics to push this story forward. It's not often you enjoy CW teen angst in a comic, but Rowell makes it works, and does so each and every issue! Victor has so many layers, and I'm excited to see where this methodical issue ending goes next. Read Full Review
This issue does another great job to get you with the feelings! Especially from with Nico and Karolina as well as with Chase! All of the scenes were great with artwork as well as with the writing, except for with Gib and Molly. She didn't bring her Molly charm that we are love when they were talking, thankfully she brought some of it later one. The battle scene with the Runaways vs. Doombot had some great moments that make you realize, why you enjoy this team! Read Full Review
Never a dull day in the mansion for these kids. Runaways #22 shook things up focusing on a couple others who have needed to take some steps forward in their stories. It's refreshing when they are out there trying to save other people, and their own people, instead of dealing with the usual drama. Read Full Review
This is honestly one of the best comics on shelves today and I never expected that from Runaways.
So much drama!
These characters become incredibly real because their motivations are well thought out and they cope with very human flaws.
Doombot's resurrection goes awry, interrupting some excellent character interactions and raising tricky problems for the future. The art's sound and the characterization continues to be spectacular; this is one of Marvel's most consistently delightful ongoings.
