On Comics Ground - Alec Thorn Sep 26, 2018

A very well-done introduction for Insomniac's Spider-Man from Earth-1048, as well as a great prelude to Spider-Geddon. Read Full Review

Sequential Planet - Callum Riley Oct 3, 2018

Overall a great issue, with all Spider-Men involved getting some great lines and characterisation in. This should add a bit of extra confusion to the Spider-Geddon event, which can only be more fun. Read Full Review

Comics: The Gathering - Harlan Ivester Sep 26, 2018

I can't say I would recommend this book to just anyone who enjoyed Spider-Man on the PS4, but if you're one of them and you're interested in Spidergeddon to begin with, then this is absolutely the book for you. Read Full Review

    Newsarama - Justin Partridge Sep 26, 2018

Though not the most auspicious start to the upcoming event, Spider-Geddon #0 is still a fun, heartfelt introduction for the new Spider-Man. Fans of the recent game will find a lot to like here as will people wondering just what all the fuss is about surrounding this new Peter Parker. Light on set-up, but heavy on skillful characterizations and great art, Spider-Geddon #0 is a step in the right direction for this new Spider-Event. Read Full Review

The Beat - AJ Frost Sep 26, 2018

Fans of the video game who want to explore more of what the Spidey universe looks like in its native habitat will definitely enjoy this issue; it's the perfect bridge. At the same time, the story, while straightforward, is intriguing enough to make fans of the characters pick up the book and give it some attention. Read Full Review

    Epicstream - Jake Vyper Oct 11, 2018

Overall, this is a good start to a fun Spider-Man storyline I can't wait to continue. Crain's artworks here look great, and the Gage's writing is a good, lighthearted build-up to an epic storyline. Read Full Review

    Comicsverse - Maite Molina Sep 26, 2018

SPIDER-GEDDON #0 excites with its reunion of Spider-People. However, it falls short in establishing a strong start to the series' story. Read Full Review

    ComicBook.com - Christian Hoffer Sep 26, 2018

Spider-Geddon #0 is a perfectly fine introduction to the upcoming event. It didn't exactly leave me excited for the event, but it also didn't actively turn me away from the event either. Read Full Review

    Newsarama - Pierce Lydon Sep 28, 2018

Spider-Geddon's core gimmick is pretty much exactly the same as it's multiverse-spanning, spider-event predecessor so if you weren't onboard for that, this issue will do little to win you over. However, if you finished PS4's Spider-Man game and wanted more of that world, this is a fun little return. Read Full Review

    AIPT - Forrest Hollingsworth Sep 26, 2018

Faithfully, and with great affability, bringing the new Spider-Man from the PS4 game into the fray of the expanded Spider-verse is the one shining beacon here in an otherwise mess of an issue that should only be picked up by fans who are interested in following this story from beginning to end.
