I'm really loving this second arc of the series! Aphra continues to shine brighter than any of Marvel's other Star Wars series, though the High Republic started out with a bang too. The art and writing and everything about this issue was great, and I didn't even mention a few smaller things like the short detour to Lucky's subplot (mainly because there's not much to talk about yet) or the non-binary character that works for Domina. I highly recommend checking out this issue, and I can't wait for the next one! Read Full Review
Doctor Aphra #7 is entertaining to read, finding that balance between intense and comical. Her adventures are about to ramp up again, as evidenced by all the planning. All of which is wonderfully supported by vibrant artwork that has a little bit of fun with the character. Read Full Review
Doctor Aphra has managed to convince Sana Starros to help her, but barely. Lucky has found himself a new employer as well. It most likely wont be long before the partners turned enemies will cross paths again. Read Full Review
While it's a delight to see Aphra and Sana's chemistry together, there are a number of deviations from the title character that don't hold the same charm, ultimately leading to a mediocre result. Read Full Review
I slept on Aphra until I heard of her affiliation with Vader. Glad I picked her up. Her and the characters she runs into are cute, funny, and ready to blow some shit up.
The cover sold me, but the story inside will have me checking for the next one.
