After recent events in the main Thor title, I was left devastated and wasn't ready for War of the Realms. The event had the difficult task of navigating me towards what was left for the property and did an extremely good job getting us to the final moments of Aaron's Thor run. While it's been touch and go at times, now that the dust has settled on War of the Realms, it's clear that Aaron and Dauterman have walked away from this battlefield with a victory - and in today's scattered event landscape, that might be one of the most godlike feats in comic books. Thor defeats Malekith with the help of his past and future selves and Jane Fos-Thor. It's a lot like Avengers: Endgame in that the big finish is never really in doubt and the plot sometimes borders on the simplistic. But also like the movie, this story is in no danger of disappointing because the creators tell it with full hearts, quick wits, and talented hands. (And like the movie, it looks absolutely gorgeous.) The side-surprises along the way and the awesome final character developments are delightful, ensuring that this finale storms right up to GOAT territory.

This was a great conclusion to a great event. It also wrapped up, for the most part, Jason Aaron's Thor run.
An awesome ending full of spectacular battles and character moments. Jason Aaron has professed his admiration for Grant Morrison's run on "Batman" and he just might have come up with an equivalent for his tenure on "Thor". A joy to read and reread again and again. And as for Russell Dauterman and co what can we say except their labour of love is showing on every page. Very well done indeed !!!!
The perfect final issue of War of the Realms. In my ways, War of the Realms is the greatest and biggest Thor story ever. This final issue is a culmination of everything Jason Aaron has wrote for the character. Jane has one last go as Thor. Thor rebuilds Mjornir and embraces himself as unworthy, making himself Worthy in the process. Malekith is defeated. Daredevil and Loki defeat Laufey. Thor becomes all-Father. Truly an epic for the ages, especially as each page is layered with some of Dauterman’s best art to date. Thank you, Jason and Russell
What's not to like in this issue?
So much payoff... This event was clearly a culmination of the whole Jason Aaron's Thor run and it couldn't end in a higher note. Spectacular art and colors. Many plot-twists. Finally a good event from Marvel!
a great redeeming moment for Thor Odinson. This is the best Jason Aaron story imo. Reccomend this series, it has great art
I don't get what force is holding the Ultimate Universe hammer together, but bringing the other Thors in was a kick-ass idea for the series climax, what a way to make full use of Aaron's run, and with excellent artwork as usual. It's a satisfying ending, it's nice to read an event book that is justified in being made into a full blown Marvel event and doesn't feel like a money grab.

An Epic conclusion to one of the best Marvel event in years.
Immensely satisfying
A solid ending.
Great finale. The Thors together are magnificent and Aaron has made Thor as heroic and powerful as he has probably ever been.
However, Malekith might have been defeated a tad too easily and the Game of Thrones “homage” became almost rip off with the fire and ice thing and the death of Malekith a la Ramsey Bolton.
Still, one of the best events, I would say, ever, all across the line.
This was a great ending to the series. War of the realms was awesome. I almost was going to not even start it but wound up being so impressed by the art and story of it all. And if youve been reading Thor it makes it all the more better.

That was a great payoff for Aaron's Thor-saga. Epilogue will be a interesting one.
I really liked this finale. The Thor trinity from all over time uniting to fight was dope. The Venom Power up for the main Villain was awesome. His G.O.T. demise was appropriate and really this ended nicely. As a whole this was a great story even if it had holes due to so many tie ins. Felt like this book wanted to include so many elements but left it to just leaving characters like spiderman and she hulk standing in a panel with no real purpose other than eye candy I guess. That was the only decline in a pretty great event.
