The game-changing conclusion! What startling new place will it take our heroes? And which hero will be completely rocked by the shocking end?
There's a surprise nestled in during Widow's fight with her ex that stunned me. I actually stopped and analyzed the image on the page, trying to rationalize what I was seeing and its obvious impact upon the Marvel Universe, but Swierczynski made good on that, giving me closure and answering those questions efficiently and effectively. All in all, this series delivered an action-packed story that gave Hawkeye, Mockingbird, Black Widow, and Dominic Fortune all a fair amount of time in the spotlight, putting the Ronin identity to rest while playing the quartet off of each other nicely. It is an enjoyable story, but not the greatest of the ages. Where these four go from here and how their paths align will be interesting to see. Read Full Review
It might feel generic at times but overall this comic has been fun. It didn't need to be more expensive, and probably didn't need to be its own mini, but it's still been fun all the same. The problem is, if you missed it you wouldn't be missing much. It has that problem that it doesn't affect much else so it doesn't 'count' so many will pass over the trade and they'll be missing some fun spy fu. Read Full Review
While we got more of the same in Widowmaker 4 from previous issues, Natasha’s deception of Ronin through Fantasia or whatever her name’s Powers was a great twist that ended this series on a high note
