VerdictI am not sure what to say that I have not said already except that this book constantly gets better. We do not have anything higher than a five star review, so I can not give it one. Go get the TPB of the first six and then buy these new three and then, go to your local shop and put a hold on Books of Magic. Read Full Review
I enjoy a good subversion of the standard fairy tale tropes and Books of Magic #9 is a great one. Read Full Review
Tom Fowlers art is magnificent. All of the characters pop on the page and there is an otherworldly style to it that gives the action an emotional impact. Read Full Review

I liked this one a lot!
This was a really good one-shot.
This lies solidly in third among the Sandman Universe titles and that says something about how lucky we are to have this universe around and actually good in 2019.
The story was great and it’s good to get a better understanding of Ellie’s character. I thought the plot to get her back would be more than just happenstance. Maybe Ellie is more connected to magic than one may believe?
