Great issue. Good art, great writing and great start to the plot. The foundation isn't totally original, but the details surrounding it are original enough. And I love the Kingpin being compatible with the current Daredevil run's Kingpin. That scene was great, and the whole setup for the premise of this book looks like it's going to be very interesting.

So good. All Dogs Go to Heaven meets Lord of the Flies, this issue. Don Bluth would be proud.

Haven't read it yet but I came here knowing it was going to be review bombed by bigots. A happy accident for me, I accidentally ordered two of the 1:50 Jim Lee covers and those seem to be sky rocketing in value lol. I'll come back to this after I read it and adjust accordingly. Just wanted to counterbalance some of the bad faith review bombing for now.

This book was promising and beautiful. DC editorial can go eat worms for cancelling it. Transphobes stay angry, bitter and isolated. You are creatures of hate and cannot win.

Another fantastic issue. This run has been great, and while the resolution of the case was a bit convenient, it was still excellently executed. Juan Ferreyra is my favorite active interior artist, each page looks like cover art or something. He's so good. Loved it.

It can't get better than this. If there was an 11 I would rate it an 11.

Of the X-Men side characters' books going on right now this one is probably my favorite. It's still relatively low stakes but at least it has Gabby. The relationship between Gabby and Xarus is fun and I hope Gabby becomes more of a regular character in whatever book Laura is the regular in.

I love Magik and I love Dani so a book like this has a pretty high floor for how much I can like it. The story here is ok, nothing great but it could definitely be worse. The writing is not bad and captures Ilyana's personality pretty well. Solid story that doesn't really matter much in the grand scheme of things, and I'd much prefer a Magik book that was given more stakes and top shelf talent but I'll take what I can get. more

Simone (and McKay over on X-Men) continue writing great character stories. They were the perfect duo for resetting after the Krakoa stuff, in my opinion. The Outliers are great, and Ransom gets some much-needed fleshing out in this issue. Of course Wolverine makes the perfect chaperone for the task at hand, and I'm interested in whether the bad guys here are future major players or just a throw away group that won't be heard of once Ransom moves on from his connection to them. I'm assuming they're going to have to wrap this up quick, with Age of Revelation coming. Probably quicker than I'd prefer, so if I have a complaint it's probably that I wish they had saved this story for after the event. more

With the big event kicking off next month and the last arc finished last month this was the perfect opportunity for a cool little Wolverine side story. And this one was really good. Very quick, very light, but a lot of fun regardless. A good appetizer before the bombs start dropping on the X-Men world next month.

I'm not usually a huge fan of Shi'ar stuff or cosmic stuff in general (I didn't even know Xavier and Lilandra had a kid) but this issue was good. One of the few Shi'ar related things I do like is Deathbird and this was a pretty good issue for her. I'm enjoying Imperial War so far and this is a good one shot side story.

The art was only ok but the writing was really good and the premise has me very interested. Not the most original thing ever, with a heavy influence from "battle tournament to receive a grand prize" stories like Highlander, Battle Royale, Juni Taisen and the recent Exquisite Corpses. But I usually like those kinds of stories, so it already has my attention.

The art was fine, the writing was kinda meh, but the premise is really interesting. X-Force but Justice League is something I can probably get behind. A lot will probably depend on what members are added but Power Girl is enough to give this series a long-ish leash with me, so I'll give it at least a few issues.

Another very solid issue in this horror themed run. The art was ok but the writing was much better. Ghost Detective was a nice touch. My only complaint about this issue, and most of the preceeding ones, is that it felt too short. Not exactly in a "this is so good it's like it was over too soon!" way but more in a "there didn't seem to be a ton of progression" way. Still, a very good issue that was a fun read. more

Deadpool is so much better with Ben Percy writing him. This has been a good series, I'm enjoying it.

Really enjoying this story, good characterization for Emma. The art is only ok but the story is a great Emma story.

This series has really started to nosedive. I can't stand the whole Sara angle. Jean is willing to risk the universe for the sake of a phantom she conjured up? It's ridiculous. I'm supposed to be rooting for her? The previous Phoenix hosts showing up was cool, but the whole premise is so dumb I just can't get on board with this story. The art is not any good either. I usually enjoy Phillips' writing but I'm ready for her to go from this book and see what the next writer is going to do. more

I don't love the art but the story is really interesting. The "powerful being is captured and needs to be released to prevent catastrophe" plot device is familiar (I can't place what exactly this is reminding me of) but it's being done very well here. This has me interested in a cosmic story, which is very rare.

I'm enjoying this series a lot. I just wish the art was better, but the story is so interesting I can't complain too much. This issue was no different. The characters are really interesting and cool, the plot in fun and I can't wait to see where else this book goes. Good stuff.
