First story was absolutely perfect. Beautiful art, great writing, great story. There's a time and place for subtlety but sometimes you need blunt examples when subtlety isn't grasped by the ignorant. That was the most fun and enjoyable mini story/part of an anthology I've read in a while.

Generally one shouldn't give just a plain 10 for a comic based on the first story.

But this time I'll make an exception.

Something something "comics are now too political" something something "it's woke and bad!"

Seeing batman beat up white supremacists automatically give this a perfect score. The art, action is so dynamic and Darren Warren Johnson is one of my favorite upcoming writers. This is my favorite annual of all time. If people are honestly sensitive and pissed off that Batman is beating up clearly evil people (doesn't matter which race they are), it tells more about them. Howard, I just want to say I dont exactly know how does Darren Warren Johnson have a strange way of showing he loves his country.I guess unlimited illegals is a good thing for every community. Can you show me what page and panel on Batman choking ICE officers? more

While this is still a very interesting story and well written and drawn, this was a bit of a down issue. The conflict between the devils was obvious and being predictable in and of itself isn't a bad thing, but this one felt a little like going through the motions. Despite that, the art was still really really good and the characters are interesting. Looks like next issue will pick up a bit.

Incredible book that's very well written and the art is out of this world. Each panel is wall-hanging worthy. As a fan of the old movie I enjoy the setting and expanded story of the world. For people who aren't familiar with the old movie it's probably standard sword and sorcery fare, except with god-tier art. I wish it came out more regularly though, I've already forgotten issues 1-3 by this point. I assume this level of art takes a long time to make, but one would also assume that the art should already be done for a limited series like this before publication. I dunno more

This issue was more of the same from the first issue. Some moderately funny comedy with the "modern person learning to deal with a primitive world" trope, but otherwise nothing really interesting or well done. The art is fine, the writing is ok, it feels like this could be a lot more interesting if A) the modern part and characters were remotely interesting at all, and B) they leaned more into "Maggie" learning the violent side of this world more than figuring out where to pee. She's had a couple physical encounters, but they were pretty brief and uninspired. Especially the crab thing. Hopefully it picks up next issue, otherwise it'll probably be my last. more

Really good writing and exceptional art. This issue starts with a bang, fighting Galactus, then slows down and explores the aftermath. Gambit is understandably devastated, especially with the constant reminder that is essentially the corpse of his wife transmogrified into a giant statue by her interaction with Galactus. This issue was very well made, but it's not the story that interests me most of this event. I'll definitely be reading it though. more

Solid for a Red Sonja book. The writing is solid and the art is passable. The premise is interesting, but the dialog occasionally dragged the story down by going too hard on the Britishisms. I'll give it another issue or two to grab my attention.

Amazing first issue. The cast is incredible, the writing and art are both great, love the cast (especially Felica's transformation). The idea of using Venom to try to cure the virus is great. Love this, my favorite AoR book yet.

Extremely interesting premise, great execution, the writing and art are both very good, love the supporting cast. The only thing I'm not quite sold on yet is the idea of two separate Rogues. We'll see how that plays out, but otherwise I like everything a lot.

I know this is a hot take but I actually did enjoy this series. Nic Klein definitely saves the series for me and prevents it for being lackluster

Great action packed first issue. It did a great job setting up the situation, the players, the stakes, and giving fans a teaser of one of the best ideas the come out of the Fall of Krakoa: Tony and Emma as a couple. I'm not sure how I'll feel about the reveal on the last page, but otherwise I liked everything about this issue. The writing was very good and the art was solid.

A bit more mixed issue for me, but only because I want to know Ben's deal and I can't wait to find that out.

Otherwise, it's really good. Kelly's writing for Norman is amazing and I really liked the other cast too. Janice especially trying to help Peter was a heartwarming scene.

But yeah, everything else I like, Nauck and McGuinness work once again as a pair, but I want to find more about Ben. It's still a really enjoyable read and I imagine I will enjoy this even more in trade. more

The definition of a BADASS comic issue

I was wavering on this book the past few issues, with the complete shift in tone and setting, but this issue got me back on board. It's still different than I was expecting, but the "monstrous villain" that the main character was targeting is actually intelligent and mostly just sticking up for the oppressed was a swerve I can appreciate. The way it was talking down to her and disregarding her as if she were a yapping puppy was pretty humorous. My only real gripe is the design of her hair and that bigass forehead lol. more

Plot
Kitty Topper continues as an undercover agent posing as the assassin Sofie Stein. She is tested to be part of a Nemesis assault team, for which she must assassinate a random person. However, the CIA managed to adapt the situation so that she eliminates a convict guilty of abominable cases, so Kitty's conscience is not so dirty and she is already infiltrated.

Kitty is transferred to Nemesis's secret headquarters 25, where she is received with harsh blows. The problem is that she is pregnant and now involved in this dangerous mission. To complicate everything, it turns out that the real Sofie Stein escaped from the CIA. She is wearing contact lens that allow the CIA to see everything and communicate with her without microphones. Apparently, she has an open channel with the superhero team The Ambassadors, because no hero so far has appeared to stop Nemesis's attacks.

Nemesis has killed more than three thousand civilians without any explanation or demand, creating only a state of global alert and terror.

Nemesis continues with his new identity as a billionaire named Hans Berg, and when he's approached by an intelligent investigative journalist, he invites her to a dinner that turns out to be his new homicidal attack, but now in Monaco, using a ship filled with liquid gas. A shocking sequence.

This new saga raises the levels of tension and terror, with a more violent and determined Nemesis. Millar's narrative power and dizzying speed exceed all permissible heart rate limits.

This is one of the best comic series of the month.

At the end of each Millarworld comic, there's a hilarious short film by Emily Brooks Millar called "Birddad."

Really interesting premise, good start to the story. Definitely got me interested and this will go on my pull list.
