While this still isn't an X-Men book beyond one character's name and another's similarity to an X-Man, it still IS an exceptional book. The X-Men purist in me wants to be annoyed that it has the word in the title, but I just can't. It's so beautiful to look at and interesting to read. A bit more action in this issue was nice too. The scene where Sto...I mean Mei fries the phones was great. Ca more

Apocalypse is one of my favorite comics villains so a book like this is going to automatically pique my interest. Most of the candidates are characters I like as well, only a couple I wasn't familiar with (Armageddon Girl? I don't recall ever seeing her before). Cable would be my personal choice, but I can see it being either Exodus or Rictor as well. GREAT art. Was very happy to see good ol' f more

I think a lot of readers may be confused with the upside down nature of this vampire world. I think once you get the hang of that it becomes a much better read. Will probably be better for most in trade.

With that said this was a solid issue waking the prisoners of bit mortals and vampires and how they unfold. Dracula is also a fun character here.

Yea, I won't say it's a negative, but they literally just 100% reversed the way vampirism works. Now regular mortals bite vampires to turn them mortal. There is an interesting story to be told with that, and this story is interesting, but there's also another interesting way to go with this where it's not a perfect 100% swap of vampirism and mortality.
