2 steps forward and 3 steps back. I have to move to trades because reading this in singles for 20 some issues to find out what happened is agony. But even then I doubt it will improve it. I really like the idea of the story. It's very intriguing on what they are trying to pull off. It's just done in a way that hinders the effectiveness. I can't quite explain it. It comes off as confusing in some parts when it really shouldn't be.

I liked the fight between Rabble and Miles. I do think a lot of the issues in this series feel similar. Lots of action with a lot of talking while fighting. I do like Shift though so the ending was fire.

Great brick laying work by Hickman and a very enjoyable issue from all angles. Except the final reveal which I'm all for if we get a different wrinkle on that old rivalry.
