The thing is, I love the art, and I like how we see Venom symbiote's thoughts on its experiences with bonding with Spidey, Eddie Brock, Lee Price, etc. But this story was kind of all over the place, and dragged this issue down for me.
A BLOOD HUNT TIE-IN!
As the earth is smothered in eternal night, VENOM unleashes their lethal justice on the hordes of bloodsucking vampires threatening the innocents of New York City. But there's one vampiric foe that thirsts not for blood - but for SYMBIOTES! Vampires aren't the only threat - the dead now rise! LEE PRICE, one-time host to th...
While it's super annoying how James Tyrion IV has to insert himself in every story to make himself sound cool.... this is still a solid issue with good art, great tension, and how the mystery unfolds.
A killer is on the loose, mimicking grisly murders from 50 years in the past. An FBI agent is in Derek's house, asking difficult questions about his boyfriend's whereabouts. And Derek is asking himself the most difficult question of all... how well does he really know Michael Schmitz? The Deviant returns as Michael's connection to the...

while art isnt up to par, I do like the way the story is going on how Daredevil and Taskmaster team up to create their own mercenary business and have to deal with Crossbones.
After botching the Montreal job and making a new enemy out of DEATH GRIP, Deadpool had the great idea to start his own boutique mercenary agency (definitely his idea! Not at all Agent Gao's!) But a startup is a lot of work, so Wade asks TASKMASTER to run it! Their first assignment? Finding out who this Death Grip is and why he's so interested in Wa...
The art is kind of a downgrade which brings the issue down, but the plot twist of someone knowing Daredevil's identity made up for it.
WASHED IN BLOOD!
The peace Matt Murdock thought he had found has started to crumble into bloody rubble - and as enemies surround Matt and Elektra from all sides, WILSON FISK makes a mysterious and dangerous return!

The art is a bit iffy and fine, but I like the story so far with Captain America leading his own Avengers to deal with Darkforce and Vampires.
BLOOD HUNT TIE-IN! NEW TEAM LINEUP DEBUTS!
With the current Avengers tied up and under siege during BLOOD HUNT, Captain Marvel calls for aid - and who better to assemble a new team of Avengers than Steve Rogers? Captain America gathers the forces of Quicksilver, Hawkeye, Hercules and Hazmat to take on the hordes of vampires attacking all over ...
I usually like anthologies, but the only stories I liked was Man-Wolf with J Jonah Jameson and Cloak and Dagger
The first in a new anthology series that explores how the shattering events of BLOOD HUNT cover the breadth of the Marvel Universe! HAWKEYE is on the run - but does he have enough trick arrows in his quiver to avoid both the long arm of the law AND vampires out for his blood?! MAN-WOLF and J. JONAH JAMESON do a little father-son bonding - while als...
This issue, written by Chip Zdarsky w/ art by Jorge Jiménez, was pretty middle-of-the-road issue that neither wowed nor disappointed. Part 3 of the Dark Prisons arc dove deeper into Failsafe’s long-term plans & sets up his interactions w/ Amanda Waller, which will play a bigger role in Mark Waid’s Absolute Power event. We also see a much more positive Bruce, who gets a surprise visit from Timmore
With no allies, no weapons, and almost no hope...can Batman fight back before Zur makes a true devil's bargain? The world is about to know Zur's true power! Him and...his new sidekick? Dark Prisons continues!

Solid issue right here
PART 1 of 3 of THE EXPLOSIVE CLIMAX OF YEAR TWO OF POISON IVY! The end times are upon Pamela Isley. The rotten seeds she has sown across America have come home to roost, and her greatest enemy has torn himself from her flesh. With the verdant villainess on death's door, is there any hope...for the rest of the world, or has the reign of Dr. Jason Wo...
Probably the best issue in zdarskys run since issue 129 imo. Very solid.
With no allies, no weapons, and almost no hope...can Batman fight back before Zur makes a true devil's bargain? The world is about to know Zur's true power! Him and...his new sidekick? Dark Prisons continues!
A really solid issue. While it's redundant on how bruce realizes he needs his family. At least things are interesting, the action is dynamic, and Tim drake comes back.

If the Birds of Prey have one mission, it's protect Barbara Gordon at all costs, and that mission is...not going great. Dinah and her team search for Barbara in this strange new world that seems specifically designed to trip them up. Many mysteries lurk in the dark of this world, and some of them don't even want to kill you...probably.
Written by Meghan Fitzmartin, Cameron Chittock, Joey Esposito, Morgan Hampton, Patrick R. Young, Tom Krajewski, Mike Barr and More Art by Kenya Danino, Vasco Georgiev, Paul Pelletier, Nico Bascunan and More Spring has sprung! Got to admit, as a DC Fanboy, Marvel completely obliterated and killed DC Comics this week. This was a great issue, and Al Ewing is slowly becoming a writer I am respecting. I liked the new art, the cliche dialogue (done on purpose) and how this series is very meta.
THOR MUST DIE!

Caught up to this series again after re-reading this, and this is one of James Tynion IV's best work out there
Something is Killing the Children returns to reveal more of Erica Slaughter's formative past, set before the Archer's Peak saga.

Honestly re-reading this series had me appreciating it more. Before, I was just rushing through the series. But taking my time made me appreciate this series as a whole. While Kyle Rayner and Carol Ferris was awkward, I like how this fleshes out and makes New 52 Kyle Rayner more interesting. I think its a solid series all around
Once and for all, Kyle will come to terms with his destiny as the White Lantern, filler of the Reservoir behind the Source Wall that keeps our universe from destructing. But how can he ever accept the fact that this role will soon kill him? The fate of the White Lantern will be revealed in this extra-sized final issue!FINAL ISSUE
I think this is one of the few modern X-men issues or stories I actually enjoyed

All your favorite X-Men are going to be left reeling after this one - shocking revelations, stunning betra...
Mother Righteous is very annoying, she doesnt have an engaging personality and good chemistry whatsoever. Also, the art, dialogue and thought boxes dont work for me.
FOREVER CHANGES!
Being immortal means nothing when you've run out of time. There's no future. There's no past. There's no way out.

Steve Orlando is a writer that I am not a fan of, and while I do think this series was one of his better ones, the final ending was not satisfying to me thanks to lackluster art, lack of engaging action. While it's a shame that this series was cancelled, at least it ended on a good note, rather than take too long and it not being interesting.
Overall, if you are a fan of Wanda Maximoff, more

Hi Dan, I was looking at The Flash Annual 2024, and one of the reviews gave that issue a zero out of 10. However, when I clicked on that website, it said that review did not exist. Can you please try to fix this to the best of your ability, or at least remove it until you get the accurate review? Thank You

While this is a filler issue, I really think this is a good example of what a filler issue is. It fleshes out why Brainiac is doing this, I like Perry White trying to convince that not all aliens are bad, and I love the reveal of who the Society of Light was that was teased all the way back in Dark Crisis.
HOUSE OF BRAINIAC PART 2.5 An essential issue in the Action Comics/Superman crossover as Brainiac's secret history with Lobo and Czarnia is revealed! How did Brainiac create a Bottled City of Czarnia? Who steps up to protect Metropolis after Brainiac's army leaves it in ruins? Will Lois Lane confront Perry White about his own secrets as he runs for...
this was the final issue of the IDW Comics run, all of Sophie Campbell and Kevin Eastman's issues have been leading up to this. While the story was convoluted, in the end it all tied up nicely where Donatello had to deal with a Armaggon, and Venus sacrificed herself to defeat Armaggeon and the baboon.
It was a little confusing with the time mechanics, and the quantum physics. But it wra more
