The thing is, I love the art, and I like how we see Venom symbiote's thoughts on its experiences with bonding with Spidey, Eddie Brock, Lee Price, etc. But this story was kind of all over the place, and dragged this issue down for me.

While it's super annoying how James Tyrion IV has to insert himself in every story to make himself sound cool.... this is still a solid issue with good art, great tension, and how the mystery unfolds.

Plot
This comic serves as support for the Blood Hunt event, where Doctor Strange is attacked by surprise by Blade, the new leader of the vampire cult Structure, responsible for the sky being covered by a cloud from the dark dimension and in an eternal night the Vampires They attack without mercy.

Blade mortally wounds Stephen and then bites him, turning him into a vampire at his command. Clea fights Blade with all her charms, but Blade has a sword capable of breaking spells, but Clea is a warrior and Blade escapes.

Clea had to separate Stephen's mind from her body to control anger, Doctor Strange's body has no mind and is controlled by Blade, at this time the Cytorak Gangs have him contained.

Tygra, Hunter's Moon and Miles Morales arrive at the Sanctum Sanctorum seeking refuge, Doctor Strange in his astral mode is convinced that he must perform the DarkHold enchantment and thus eliminate all the Vampires, but Clea threatened him that if he does that then his body will die. and she doesn't care about this world without Stephen, so they both must find a way to save the world without using the Darkhold.

The comic closes with the ghost of Victor Strange, Stephen Strange's evil brother, who has been hiding for some time, but has now just seen the opportunity to take over Doctor Strange's Vampire body.

Amazing installment that raises the level of tension, mysteries, terror and excitement of the Blood Hunt event and continues to enhance the story of the supreme sorcerer!

Art
It's detailed art with lots of lighting, highlighting the workouts and offering well-executed body language, even though everything has a dreary color palette. The Pascual Ferry imprint is striking and unique.

Summary
Blade continues with his plan to take the planet with his Vampires and Docotor Strange was his first target, but Clea is not easy to defeat. more

while art isnt up to par, I do like the way the story is going on how Daredevil and Taskmaster team up to create their own mercenary business and have to deal with Crossbones.

The art is kind of a downgrade which brings the issue down, but the plot twist of someone knowing Daredevil's identity made up for it.

The art is a bit iffy and fine, but I like the story so far with Captain America leading his own Avengers to deal with Darkforce and Vampires.

I usually like anthologies, but the only stories I liked was Man-Wolf with J Jonah Jameson and Cloak and Dagger

This issue, written by Chip Zdarsky w/ art by Jorge Jiménez, was pretty middle-of-the-road issue that neither wowed nor disappointed. Part 3 of the Dark Prisons arc dove deeper into Failsafe’s long-term plans & sets up his interactions w/ Amanda Waller, which will play a bigger role in Mark Waid’s Absolute Power event. We also see a much more positive Bruce, who gets a surprise visit from Tim Drake. While Zdarsky’s script is engaging & moves things along, it lacks a punch to elevate this arc.

Jiménez’s artwork is, as always, a highlight. His dark & moody style perfectly captures the tone of the Batman universe, & his action sequences are fluid & dynamic. Tomeu Morey’s colors & Clayton Cowles’ lettering complement his art, creating a visually appealing package.

Overall, this issue’s pacing is well-balanced, with a mix of action, plot development, & character moments. However, it all feels somewhat predictable. I’m actually more intrigued with Failsafe’s arc than I am Bruce’s, & I can’t tell if I’m meant to feel that way or it’s just that Bruce’s story is milquetoast. more

Solid issue right here

Probably the best issue in zdarskys run since issue 129 imo. Very solid.

A really solid issue. While it's redundant on how bruce realizes he needs his family. At least things are interesting, the action is dynamic, and Tim drake comes back.

Got to admit, as a DC Fanboy, Marvel completely obliterated and killed DC Comics this week. This was a great issue, and Al Ewing is slowly becoming a writer I am respecting. I liked the new art, the cliche dialogue (done on purpose) and how this series is very meta.

Caught up to this series again after re-reading this, and this is one of James Tynion IV's best work out there

Honestly re-reading this series had me appreciating it more. Before, I was just rushing through the series. But taking my time made me appreciate this series as a whole. While Kyle Rayner and Carol Ferris was awkward, I like how this fleshes out and makes New 52 Kyle Rayner more interesting. I think its a solid series all around

I think this is one of the few modern X-men issues or stories I actually enjoyed

Mother Righteous is very annoying, she doesnt have an engaging personality and good chemistry whatsoever. Also, the art, dialogue and thought boxes dont work for me.

Steve Orlando is a writer that I am not a fan of, and while I do think this series was one of his better ones, the final ending was not satisfying to me thanks to lackluster art, lack of engaging action. While it's a shame that this series was cancelled, at least it ended on a good note, rather than take too long and it not being interesting.

Overall, if you are a fan of Wanda Maximoff, I can say this is her definitive series. This series took heavy inspiration from Jason Aaron's Thor run. more

It's been a while since I read a Marvel event that got me hyped. But I will reserve my thoughts for the plot twist in this issue

While this is a filler issue, I really think this is a good example of what a filler issue is. It fleshes out why Brainiac is doing this, I like Perry White trying to convince that not all aliens are bad, and I love the reveal of who the Society of Light was that was teased all the way back in Dark Crisis.

this was the final issue of the IDW Comics run, all of Sophie Campbell and Kevin Eastman's issues have been leading up to this. While the story was convoluted, in the end it all tied up nicely where Donatello had to deal with a Armaggon, and Venus sacrificed herself to defeat Armaggeon and the baboon.

It was a little confusing with the time mechanics, and the quantum physics. But it wrapped up nicely, and at least it ended on a satisfying note. This has been my favorite interpretation of the TMNT (right up there with TMNT: Mutant Mayhem and 2012 Cartoon TMNT). Even if Jason Aaron's TMNT is a little wonky and not as good, at least in my headcanon TMNT ended here on a high note.

So yeah, I really liked this series, and I would recccomend people reading this series from start to finish. more
