It's hard not to feel bad for Miles already -- at a basic level, he's just a man who wanted something, which doesn't bode well for his future with Jo.

It's getting to the point where Turtles is putting everything out on the table all at once. With the addition of the Dragons, we now have Shredder, Casey, April, Karai, hints of Bebop and Rocksteady, Baxter Stockman, Krang, and the list goes on. We're still early, so we're getting top heavy. This kind of stuff hinders progress, which #11 is a clear case for.

Where Season 8 failed to find itself, Season 9 consistently unfolds and feels like a true successor to the television series. Despite this limp finale to a fine arc, Buffy the Vampire Slayer is still on a terrific upswing.

The complexities of relationships is the running theme in Invincible #92, and it's something that's likely to continue as Kirkman continues to explore the complicated lives of this series' lesser-known and new characters. If the future is as strong and engaging as this, keep it coming. Hanging out with other heroes here is a refreshing change of pace.
