So while all this is fine and dandy, it is a tad repetitive. Fight 1, fight 2, fight 40987".. It feels more like a Street Fighter arcade edition story with a few G.I.Joe character thrown in as game exclusive characters. I'm still enjoying the series, but I hope they mix it up and give it a little more meat.

All in all, it's a nice change of pace from the stuff we have seen so far. The creativity of the team is just fantastic.

He has the banter and action down pat. With a few more issues there is no telling what this guy could do.

The book moves a great pace, Robert Venditti's writing makes these events seem like they are happening naturally and organically. Nothing feels forced or overdone. There's nothing predictable about this book.

Duggan and Posehn are fantastic storytellers and have been telling stories that really take a toll on Wade. He's not jumping from mission to mission. There's connections between all of them.

This issue feels like a filler, once that is a little forced. Ok, so it also serves as a segue into the next arc but most of it still feels a little bland. Simon Baz is essentially a cameo in this. Hal has some nice scenes so it isn't all bad.

This is one of those issues that you just have to pick up. This series is a great insight into what goes on in the Marvel U behind the fancy intergalactic battles and gods fighting gods. It's gritty, beautiful, and serious. This is slowly making Edmondson and Noto a duo to watch out for.
