Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #17 is an excellent transition issue, giving our teenage heroes some downtime before their next big adventure. In doing so, the creative team give us an intriguing look into how they fill this freetime, with there being some interesting results due to this. Read Full Review

Geeked Out Nation - Jideobi Odunze Jul 19, 2017

The next Power Rangers epic starts with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #17 as there is a true adjustment to take notice of when coming back from an intergalactic mission. That would all have been too easy if nothing changed for this team after. Hopefully how this issue left is will lead to them further pressing the Power Rangers' place in this world as superheroes. IGN - Jesse Schedeen Jul 19, 2017

It's clear from this issue that Mighty Morphin Power Rangers won't be immediately rushing into its next major conflict. And why should it? This chapter serves as a chance for the team to regroup and come to terms with a world free from giant monster attacks. It's an enjoyable, attractive book that makes the most of the newly reunited cast. Read Full Review

    Newsarama - Matthew Sibley Jul 24, 2017

The portion of downtime is unfortunately the weakest part of the issue from an art perspective, suffering from a lack of detail in places, but this sentiment doesn't linger for long as Higgins gets back to the big stuff in an issue which allows you to jump-on and take a cursory glance and what this series is looking to do moving forward. This issue comes right after a huge 16 story arc, its a nice transition. If you're picking this up for the first time, give it another issue to pick up speed. You're in for a wild ride with Kyle Higgins in the hot seat. In the mean time, go grab issues 1-16, its worth it. Trust me.
