The battle against future vampire and Slayer twin, Harth, and his legion of evil, has already begun in the present when Buffy, Fray, and the Scoobies return from the future ready to fight. The Reckoning is now, and if the future can be changed, it will take everything that Buffy has to save the Slayers and our world!
o The Reckoning will be the culmination of all the Buffy Seasons!
Final farewells before the final battle leads to the final issue of Buffy Summers's saga. The drama is heavy as every character gets a moment. They are all great. The conflict is entertaining, punctuated by several interesting conversations. The visuals are strong, especially when the battle gets going. This is one to keep fans in suspense until the final curtain call. Read Full Review
Overall, I thought this issue was very well done. The writing and character moments were awesome. The art has improved a bit and we were left with a good climax. Really, the only reason I deduct points for this series is because I am not wowed by the art. Read Full Review
Through the events of Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 12: The Reckoning #3, it seems that destiny is not written in stone, but was it the twist you were prepared for? That is what shook up a story that really would have played into the concept of fate a little strong if this issue ended any other way. But what kind of dweeb doesn't like the Slayer? Read Full Review

I have hopes that this issue was deliberately a bit flat to ensure the final issue makes a bigger impact. Read Full Review

Very good penultimate issue of the Dark Horse era and possibly of all things classic Buffy.
