Lyles Movie Files - Jeffrey Lyles Jun 28, 2022

With every exchange, Johnson shows that he fundamentally understands what makes Superman the best hero even if he's not rocking the blue and red tights. This arc has fully won me over and I'm just sitting back and enjoying the ride instead of wondering when it's going to end. Read Full Review

Various pieces are beginning to fall into place at a slow-but-steady pace as is to be expected with the recent announcement that the Warworld saga is coming to an end within the next handful of months. Geek Dad - Ray Goldfield Jun 28, 2022

The Comicbook Dispatch - StoryBabbler Jun 28, 2022

Action Comics #1044 delivers the second part of the Warworld Revolution. This comic takes the time to show off a little bit of the eerie alien called “Orphan” while Superman and his allies prepare to rescue Enchantress from a macabre alien witch. The story and writing by Phillip Kennedy Johnson is solid while the art from Riccardo Federico and Will Conrad is pretty good in bringing this part of the Warworld Saga to life. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Jim Werner Jul 4, 2022

Action Comics #1044 continues the slow burn Warworld Saga, and while Johnson's attention to detail is admirable, the story has stalled a bit.  That is worrisome with only a few issues left, but hopefully, things will wrap up nicely and neat.  Only time will tell. Read Full Review
