This book deserves to continue, as it adds to the nostalgia Darwyn Cooke started in The New Frontier. So please, DC"give us more Bombshells!!! Read Full Review

The resolution that frees the prisoners (including Felicity, Ollie, and Croc) from the signal calls back to the end of Final Crisis and allows Dinah and Karen to shine in the issue's final pages. Dinah's reunion with Ollie also delivers more genuine romance between these two than we got in Green Arrow. But Apokalips is right around the corner, and the final arc of this series is likely to be its most intense yet. Read Full Review

Bringing Talia into the world is something I'm definitely curious to see how it'll play out and this is a decent start to it. The book kind of runs with a couple of different focuses and throws a lot at the reader so it doesn't have quite the weight that it feels like it should. I like the fun of the start of it with the quips and action but felt the flashback/exposition side of it was just a bit less compelling, a little too soon to be happening from someone they just met. I would have rather had more time seeing Kate and Renee connecting with Talia than getting the whole history in a kind of cartoon info dump. The book is fun overall and I definitely liked what Mirka Andolfo brought to the page with the action and Kate's expressions so there's plenty to like here. Read Full Review

However, the use of the Deus Ex Machina and the flip flopping of antagonist in this story took away from what had been a somewhat enjoyable story. I see why Bennett chose to do it this way, since she is clearly setting up for the final run of issues with this chapter (it was announced that Bombshells United was ending soon). It’s just too bad it was done in such a haphazard way. Read Full Review
