All that and now the series is entering a crossover with yet another gorgeous and interesting series from DC's Dark corner of the new Universe, I, Vampire. I literally can't wait for next month. Read Full Review

This book started strong and has only gotten better with time. Hopefully none of that momentum will be lost during the crossover and when the book transitions to Jeff Lemire. Read Full Review

I understand that they are not totally in reality but sometimes I need a little more than just a two color watercolor background. Justice League Dark heads into a vampire crossover with I, Vampire next but this issue does little to sell me on the future of the book. I'll be checking out until Animal Man scribe Jeff Lemire takes over with issue #9. Read Full Review

I love the Justice League Dark series, so far. I thought this book was okay. It is by no means bad, but it just comes off as being unnecessary. If you know who these characters are and you know the circumstances that put them here, then I am really tempted to suggest skipping it. If you pick this issue to come in fresh to the series though, it is definitely not a bad starting point. Let's just hope it picks back up with the next two issues and sees author Peter Milligan out on a high note. Read Full Review

Well NOW sure would be a great time for my comic shop to FINALLY get I, Vampire #2 in stock so I can catch up on that frigging series! As for this issue? It didn't do enough. To be perfectly honest, if it wasn't for the I, Vampire crossover, I'd be dropping this series this Wednesday when I hit the comic shop. It just doesn't do it for me. With that said, I'll continue reading through the I, Vampire x-over stuff, and once that ends? I'll be dropping this series. I'm sure I can find a more creative way to waste $3 every month. "Justice League Dark" is a good book and generally better than this issue indicates, which is a shame because this feels like it wants to lure in more new readers but doesn't have a strong chance of holding them. The characters feel right and it's only the narrative that's wrong. Read Full Review
