    "O.M.A.C." is a distinctly DC comic that isn't afraid to be quite unlike other comics while also playing up the main thing that makes comics so darned entertaining: suspension of disbelief. This book is a mega-blockbuster, high-octane, popcorn flick transcribed to paper. DiDio and Giffen do a great job paying tribute to Jack Kirby specifically and DC Comics in general. This is the one comic from the relaunch that surprised me, continues to surprise, and seems poised to offer even more surprises in the near future. Read Full Review

    I had concerns that last issue was a sign that the series' plotline had gone adrift, but this issue convincingly sweeps those fears aside. The story is still fun and audacious, but the solidification and development of relationships between characters is the real reason to sing this issue's praises. Read Full Review

    Even as all of that is going on, DiDio and Giffen are creating a thrilling conspiracy story. What's Maxwell Lord's endgame? What's Genesis? Why Kevin Kho? On almost every page, they are giving us big, loud action but they are also sowing the back-story seeds, building their story by creating new questions with almost every issue. And that's also recapturing the fun of monthly comics, where every 30 days you get an issue that makes you want more. Read Full Review
