Mike McKone is a great artist who has a clear understanding of all the basic elements of good comic book art. His characters sport a wealth of emotional reactions from the look of evil anticipation on the faces of the future Titans as they break through the wall to confront Deathstroke, to Robin's look of anguish as he wakes up in the new Batcave. The art also does an effective job when it comes to the action, as the graveyard battle between Robin and his future counterpart has a wonderful sense of urgency to it, and it's pretty clear from the outset that Robin has no chance of winning this fight.
