This week's foray into the future was really something to see.  From it's single story to it's redemption of a hero, it was definitely one of the best issues of Futures End yet.  Patrick Zircher is on the book this week and he did a damn fine job with these characters and bringing us something that we've been waiting to see in the land of Futures End.  Just so much goodness here that it will bring you joy, grief and just that bad ass feeling you get when you read a great comic.  Go check it out. Alright, now this is what myself and so many others have been wanting from this series: real story progression and the comic actually going somewhere. Futures End #29 brings the storyline to a close, giving it complete focus and it's all for the better. The characterization, the story's conclusion, the implications and what they could lead to, the return of Patrick Zircher's artwork, and more" everything's just so good to see! The only two downsides are that since the book took so long to get to this point the effect of this ending is probably not as strong as it could be for some people and the cover is also a huge spoiler. Most Memorable Moment: Read Full Review

How can you complain when you get a full story cover-to-cover in this series? It's a testament to the path this series has taken, that it can pile layer upon layer of background stories and come out with such a straightforward issue and the reader leave feeling satisfied. I enjoyed it. Read Full Review

There are still some places this series needs to go and all of these various stories need to connect somehow before the end, but it is still really nice to actually see some plot progression in this book. Read Full Review
