I'm really only knocking off a point for Black Dynamite #2 because it's taken three months to release this after the first issue, which frankly is unfortunate in a book this entertaining, but don't let that dissuade any of you Blaxploitation admirers from picking up this book. This shit right here is solid! Read Full Review

Black Dynamite #2 hits a sweet spot for me, with intriguing modern visuals in a retro style, and a main character that's both funny and funky, earning 3.5 out of 5 stars overall. I can, indeed, dig that… Read Full Review

Comic Book Therapy - Cody "The Thorverine" Ferrell May 7, 2014

Black Dynamite uses this issue to settle into the story we'll be seeing for the next two issues, and it serves as a pretty good transition on the whole. With the story now defined, it looks like it's time to have some fun. Read Full Review
