Heroes Direct - Adam Fitch Sep 28, 2016

Overall, this isn't a bad issue. Bunn has written a good story, but we felt there was more to be desired when it comes to the “tie-in” part of the narrative. Read Full Review

Outright Geekery - Shannon Ledene Sep 27, 2016

Overall, this is an extra issue of Micronauts for the most part and, while fine, I wish Bunn had done more with it than that last page to tie it in. Pick it up, but also ask your friends to catch you up on what's going on in Micronauts first. Or, check out our full review of the first 6 issues here. Read Full Review

I'll be honest, this has been one of the hardest reviews I've have had to write, hence its briefness. The issue, while not necessarily “bad” in any significant way, reads like a love letter to fans of the series, which is great for creators to do, but jumping on from this point will just definitely turn newcomers off the series. I would recommend going back to read past issues if you do fancy it and saving this one for when you are a more educated fan. Read Full Review
