Being a fan from the off, this series has consistently ticked all the boxes. I was drawn in by the execution of the weird and wonderful ideas, and of course the efforts of the team as a whole. I said it was refreshing for something to be so straight up entertaining. Now here, awaiting the finale of the arc I realise how insidiously Outer Darkness has raised the bar for my future reading. This is a MUST-BUY book for any fan of science fiction or horror. This is a frightening, horrific, and thrilling story set in the stars. The characters are original and engaging and the visuals capture the grandeur and nightmares of space. This earns my highest possible recommendation. Read Full Review

Horror DNA - James Ferguson Mar 30, 2019

Outer Darkness has rocketed forward in its debut arc and has never let up. The intrigue, humor, sci-fi adventure, and pure, unbridled horror blend together in this perfect mix that scratches every itch. Sequential Planet - Danilo To Mar 12, 2019

Outer Darkness is an amazing series which just released what could be its first dud. Maybe this month's dull read is compensated by the next issue which concludes the comics' first story arc and, who knows, shows that this issue's lack of action was the best option to go for. Despite not enjoying this issue, I recommend picking this series as it is one of the most innovative comics being published at the moment. Read Full Review

Possibly because we know the crew is doomed, the characters were only ever conceptualized as one-dimensional stereotypes, but this efficient character creation doesn't do the book itself any favors. Read Full Review
